On Bonaire, people are working to restore the ecosystem of Lac Bay and to restore the amount of Queen Conch in the Bay to such an extend that sustainable fishery will be possible again in the future. Bonaire is the proud owner of five different ecosystems and finding a balance between preserving the island's unique nature and worldly development beating on it's door is an ongoing challenge. By making video-reports and writing blogs I try to inspire people on Bonaire and abroad to review their ideas of 'economical development versus nature conservation', to look for communalities instead of controverses and show how people can make a change. Whatifwechange.org is an interactive platform where you can shape the future of our planet. Not as a destructor, but as a creative using your strength to rebuild the world, learn from others and share your vision.. . On What if we change we shape our future by telling videostories.. Stories about the importance of nature for human survival. Stories from people living and working all over the world, conserving our planet and improving their lives.
