Assessments, treatment, group therapy, home programs, consultations, phone consultations, and reports available upon request/appointment. No referral required. No waitlists.. . My name is Ashlee St. Croix and I grew up in Mount Pearl, NL. I began Memorial University in 2001 and worked towards a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics and Psychology. While working on this degree, I began working as a ABA Home Therapist for a young boy diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I very quickly realized I wanted to spend my life working with people who have communication disorders. I was accepted into the Masters of Science program in Speech Pathology at Dalhousie University in 2007, and graduated in 2010. After living in Halifax for 3 years, and completing a work term at the McMaster Children's Hospital in Hamilton, ON, I wanted to move home and be closer to my family. Since moving home, I've worked in private practice, worked at the Health Sciences Centre, worked at the Miller Centre, and was finally awarded a permanent full time position at the Carbonear General Hospital. This job was wonderfully challenging and rewarding, however the commute became too difficult when I had my little boy. I accepted a temporary position at the Janeway and fell in love working with children. I made the wonderful decision to stay home with my son for an extra year and since added a baby girl to our family. I am excited to launch my own private Speech Pathology private service, Speech Pathology NL and work for the wonderful Blossom Child Development Centre. I am a registered member of CASLP-NL, which also means my vulnerable persons and criminal record checks are up to date. . . I look forward to chatting with you and being part of your team..
