They respond strongly and immediately to our body language, emotions and other non-verbal communication. We can learn a lot about our leadership style by observing how a horse engages us. There is no riding in our workshops and you do not need to have any prior horsemanship experience.. . Throughout Stanford University's Equine-Guided Leadership Development programs, professional leadership coaches guide participants through a series of carefully designed exercises with horses. Participants have opportunities to witness, practice and internalize different leadership and communication styles. The experiential nature of our workshops ensures that participants retain new insights on several levels: intellectual, emotional and physical. . . LEADERSHIP WORKSHOPS. Workshops can address a variety of leadership skills including, but not limited to:. Identifying and building on leadership strengths. Improving personal and situational awareness.
