The figure skating staff, hockey staff and management team are thrilled you have chosen to participate in the exciting world of ice skating! Ice Valley Centre’s Learn To Skate program is affiliated with U.S. Figure Skating Basic Skills Program. U.S. Figure Skating Basic Skills Program is the official learn to skate program of the national governing body of figure skating. Ice Valley Centre’s professional coaching staff are members of U.S. Figure Skating, USA Hockey, Ice Skating Institute, and/or the Professional Skaters Association. We offer the highest quality instruction in a fun, rewarding, and challenging environment. Our classes are designed to keep our students excited about learning from their very first class until they have reached their goals. Learning to skate is easy and fun! It requires a little determination, a lot of practice and no fear of falling! We are very excited for this upcoming skating season. Five new programs have been created and added to the schedule for the Fall of 2011. The Learn to Skate program has spread its wings and will now offer beginning hockey classes for your little NHL enthusiast! Also, a new “Mommy and Me” and “Daddy and Me” class have been added to the schedule, as well as a 3-4 year old beginning class! The Learn to Skate program will also now offer more class times on more days to better fit your hectic schedule. The Learn to Skate program will be hosting an Open House the Sunday before the start of each session. Meet the staff, skate for free, register for classes and save! Oh, and did I mention that classes are now cheaper?? Yes, that’s right, all classes have been slashed in price this year! And mark your calendar for our ever popular winter and spring ice shows as well as our 3rd Annual Kankakee Valley Open Basic Skills competition. You can find details in this book on those events.. .
