In 2004, Jon and Stacie Zimmerman started the business with one truck, two employees and an entrepreneurial spirit. Today, they employ over 30 hard working people who feel more like family. At Zimprovements, no detail is too small, no task is left undone. Each step of the way, there is always someone looking out for you and your project. When you call to schedule your appointment, you may get Anne, our appointment specialist, to schedule your appointment, or, you may get Chad, our production manager, if Anne is already on a call. When a truck comes in with new awnings ready to be unloaded, you'll find the ladies in heels unloading right alongside our crew. That's how we do things, as a team, as a family. We look out for each other and we will look out for you.. . Due to the seasonal nature of our business, the cold and snow meant goodbye for now for our crews. The addition of Red Nose Lighting in 2005, created a way for our crews to be employed through the winter months. It also began the multi-divisional company that is now Zimprovements. There are many benefits to this model, with the greatest being able to retain better employees due to lack of layoff, which means better quality of production for you, our customer. All of our installers are trained specialists and many are cross-trained on each of our product lines, ensuring timely installations of your project.. .
