Detailed description is Opened November 16, 2002 in memory of Arlene Hooker Fay Arlene Hooker Fay. 1933 - 2001. Noted for her warm portrayal of Native Americans, Fay was inducted into the Blackfeet tribe. She was an award-winning, founding member of the Northwest Rendezvous Group, a three-time People’s Choice winner at the C. M. Russell Auction, as well as a Best of Show winner. Fay has had feature articles in Contemporary Western Artists, Art West, Southwest Art, US Art, The Illustrator and Northwest Living. She was also published by Leanin’ Tree, was a frequent guest artist at many Northwest shows, and taught workshops at the Frye Museum in Seattle.
