The Eastern Kings Health Foundation Inc. is a registered charitable organization that raises funds to support medical equipment and resources for health services in the Eastern Kings area of Prince Edward Island. . . The Foundation is unique in that it not only provides support to Souris Hospital, but also supports Colville Manor, Mental Health and Addictions , Home Care and Public Health. . . Governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, the Foundation is committed to fundraising, collecting and directing dollars to improve and maintain the health of the citizens in eastern PEI.. . The provincial government provides only a small amount of the funding for the medical equipment that makes it possible to have excellent health care in Eastern PEI. Donors just like you can help bridge the gap by supporting the purchase of an item from the equipment wish list.. .
