An exhibition space, MT SPACES GALLERY, seeks to actively engage people by presenting vibrant programs and shows that challenge, inspire, and expand explorations in the visual art experience. The gallery will present art that serves as a catalyst for conversation, education, and creative interaction in the community. Programs such as Art Instruction to youth, Children’s exhibits, Monica’s One Hundred for 100 Scholarship project to college bound or graduating students, and exhibitions throughout the year give local and regional artists, including Monica Tookes, a venue for presenting their work to the public. As well, MT SPACES GALLERY will host competitions for award recognition along with opportunities for artists to sell their work.. . These exhibitions offer the public a chance to view works from artists both emerging and established. It will connect the community to a visual arts experience that gives back and opens opportunities for collecting fine art. MT SPACES GALLERY will continue to create new ways to showcase local talent quarterly and connect visual arts to the community. It plans to open daily with free admission and include a Gallery Shop and local business spotlight corner highlighting a new business in the arts for the community to support.
