Detailed description is Our first trip to Honduras was in July of 2008, I met and had an instant connection with a young lady there named Carmen, she was 17 years old at the time. I came home with a changed heart, an overwhelming feeling to learn the Spanish language, and a desire to help this young lady be the best she could be in a very poor and difficult part of the world. We now have many girls that we encourage to make good decisions in life, provide spiritual growth, education at the University which is very key in an attempt to have a better job, and English classes if they choose. Being bi-lingual can provide more opportunities in a job search also. All of this builds their confidence, responsibility, and relationships. We are one big family both with good and bad times, we cry together, we laugh together. Our home is centered around serving our God.
