Detailed description is Making space for living in Birmingham Space Makers is about developing creative ways to engage people in exploring, improving and enjoying their local area. Through events and actions that aim to surprise, intrigue and inspire, we are learning about how public spaces are used, and how people would like to be able to use them, in order to inform development of these spaces, and recruit people interested in effecting changes and maintaining these spaces into the future.. . Space Makers (Previously known as Space Explorers) has been supported by the Church Urban Fund through their Near Neighbours fund and by Kings Heath Transition Initiative. . . What began as a private project for the Hill-Daniel family, looking at better ways to use our own living space, has developed into an community project that aims to take others through the same process and promote the thoughtful, creative and innovative use of space.
