Laura has studied saxophone, clarinet, piano, and songwriting for 23 years and has 15 years of professional performance and teaching experience.
At Berklee College of Music(2003-2007) she majored in professional music with an emphasis on saxophone performance and minored in music business.
A member of the Berklee Contemporary Wind Orchestra , Gospel Choir, Contemporary Chamber Music Ensemble, and the Bob Marley touring ensemble, professionally debuting on clarinet on acclaimed artist Sydney Wayser’s debut album Silent Parade.
As a member of the recording and performing New England band Weight of Gravity, she wrote saxophone parts and recorded an album with the group, which won Best New Album in the 2010 Worcester Magazine Music awards in Worcester, MA.
Specializing in jazz theory, improvisation, classical repertoire, contemporary styles, saxophone, clarinet, and piano technique, performance techniques, music technology & recording techniques.
