Have indoor space to rent/provide? Message us! Learn To Rollerskate YQL is a recreational rollerskating fitness and activity group. Attend events and rolling meet-ups and let's build the rollerskating community together! We mostly skate outside, but we are looking for an indoor venue willing to host co-operative recreational rolling events. Message us if you can help!. . Learn To Rollerskate YQL's purpose is to grow outdoor and indoor recreational rollerskating in Lethbridge. All abilities are welcome. Whether you are new to rollerskating, a path skater, an aggressive skater, interested in roller dance or roller derby skater, your contributions are important and valued.. . Learn To Rollerskate YQL was established by Martina Emard/Cherri Blaster, who has been enjoying life on eight wheels since her teens. In 2010, she joined the Lethbridge Roller Derby Guild as a founding member and retired from active playing in 2016 to focus on refereeing. In the summer of 2016, she launched Learn to Rollerskate YQL and offered a free community program to teach the basics of skating outdoors. Topics included basic forward skating technique, basic stops/falls and navigating obstacles. Her goal is to expand the program into an active rollerskating community.. .
