These services include academic advising, our STEP Summer Conference, semesterly CMU Campus Visits, educational workshops on campus and at local community/tribal colleges, peer assisted learning, the Student Transfer Organization, and much more!. . Participant requirements:. . -First-generation and/or Pell Grant eligible. . -Wish to continue your education at a four-year institution. . -Attend two one-on-one meetings per semester with the STEP Academic Advisor. . -Attend two workshops per semester.
