We believe that at every party, at every meal and at every occasion where cake is served - the cake is the main event. We make cakes that are much more than just dessert at the end of the meal. Our cakes are attention-grabbing centerpieces, custom works of art and one-of-a-kind culinary creations. Appearance and taste are equally important and that's why we use only the highest caliber ingredients and all of our recipes are made-from-scratch. . . Because our cakes are elaborate, involved and intricate pieces that require several hours of specialized labor - pricing for our cakes reflects the effort they require. As such, our pricing minimums (which vary by cake type) should be considered before pursuing The Main Event as your cake creation specialists. A more detailed breakdown of our minimum pricing, by cake type, is below. . . . . TRADITIONAL CAKES. Traditional cakes are cakes that can be baked in the shape of traditional pans (most often square, rectangle or circular) and do not require any carving, sculpting or modification whatsoever. Traditional cakes begin at $250. . . . SCULPTED CAKES. Sculpted cakes (in custom shapes) typically start start at $500. Sculpted cakes can be built in to almost any shape you can imagine; however, degree of complexity will influence how expensive your cake will be, something that will be discussed and defined during your free consultation.. . . . CUP CAKES. ⁃ The Main Event also offers baking and design services for cupcakes. . ⁃ Traditional cupcakes (consisting of cake and frosting only) begin at $3/ea. Additional design elements can be added to your cupcakes for additional cost and will be priced during your consultation. . ⁃ Cupcakes must be ordered at minimums of 2 dozen and orders can only be increased by increments of 12.. . . DESIGN & SPECIALITY REQUESTS. Design & specialty requests are what can bring your vision to life. We pride ourselves in making your dreams edible, right down to the finest detail. Design can dramatically influence pricing - something that will be discussed during your free consultation. . . . . FREE CONSULTATION. Unlike many of our competitors, The Main Event is happy to offer you a free consultation to discuss your cake dreams. During your consultation we'll help you determine where your vision and your budget meet and will provide a quote for the cake of your dreams shortly after our discussion. Please note - we strongly urge you to review our minimum pricing structure prior to requesting a consultation as our minimums are non-negotiable. . . . DEPOSIT. Creating custom cakes requires a substantial investment on our part (ingredients and timing), so to secure your spot on our schedule, we require a $100.00 non-refundable deposit that will be applied to your final cost.
