Detailed description is The Vaults is the first Micropub in Wiltshire but with the largest cellar in Devizes it also offers a large range of bottles and cans including gluten free The Vaults has already proved to be a popular haunt of locals and a destination of choice for many visitors to Devizes. Our pub is not like any other. Here you can sit or stand in a friendly environment without any irritations and nothing more noisy than chatter, although that can be quite noisy at weekends.. . You have a choice of up to 5 real ales from only the best local producers with just the occasional ale from further afield. Always one traditional cider on pump along with 2 changing lagers from Freedom Brewery.. . But, to add a little of the continent (think Bruges or Prague), we have an extensive range of bottled beers from across the country and the entire world, in varying strengths and styles including many classics alongside several rarities and one offs. You'll find a menu in every corner of our pub to sit and browse and you'll find our prices very reasonable too.. . We are gradually building our bottled range and aiming to have around 1000 different bottled beers and ciders in stock for you to drink in or take away.. . Come and enjoy all our lovely furniture and artefacts all hand built from scratch by local artist Jonathan Rigg.. . Ask for a tour of our extensive cellars and visit the engine room where all our cask conditioned ales are stored at the perfect temperature.. . We often find people will order a drink and sit down somewhere, then order another and sit somewhere else and often find themselves chatting to complete strangers. This is what we love and it's what we are about. . . We are completely independent, whilst there is a connection to Kennet & Avon Brewery and Wessex Brewery we are absolutely not dominated by them and will always offer quality and choice to the discerning consumer in a comfortable environment at reasonable prices.. .
