It was their tenth-generation Grandfather, Luis Quintero, who came to the area to build a Presidio as part of the Moncada Expedition. Decades later, in 1855, their Great, Great Grandfather Jules Goux, planted the first commercial olive grove in the surrounding fertile land. Today, the tradition continues with the tenth generation of olive farmers who still growing organic olives on their family’s land.
