Due to the growing demands of the discipleship ministry, Don and his wife Carol resigned from their pastorate to further develop and spread the newly organized Lay Leadership Institute (LLI) Discipleship Methods and Curriculum.. . To date an estimated two million people have enrolled in various aspects of the basic and advanced discipleship training.. . The materials are biblically based and adhere to a middle of the road theological approach allowing Christians from many different expressions to participate.
