VIRGINIA — Two candidates each are vying for the mayor’s seat and an alderman’s position in upcoming municipal elections.
Incumbent Reg Brunk will face challenger Steve Clark on April 6 in a bid for the mayor’s seat.
Brunk has been mayor for four years, serving as an alderman for eight years before that. He also served four years in the Air Force.
During his first term, he said, the city built a new water plant and ambulance service in the city became easily accessible.
