5 Top Weekly TSXV Stocks: Lithium Explorers Rise Higher

Last week’s top-gaining TSXV mining stocks were ReconAfrica, Wealth Minerals, Quantum Minerals, Noram Ventures and Pure Energy Minerals.
The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index (INDEXTSI:JX) trended upward last week, opening on Monday (January 11) at 885.77 and closing at 907.74 on Friday (January 15). 
Gold took a hit during the week, trading below the US$1,850 per ounce level on the back of a strong US dollar and better yields for the US 10 year Treasury.
Base metals were mixed, although copper made it back above US$8,000 per tonne. Interestingly, most of last week’s top-gaining mining stocks on the TSXV were battery metals-focused companies.
