Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) officials attribute the delay to a shortage of manpower. According to BS Prahlad, Chief Engineer of BBMP’s Road Infrastructure Department, while nearly 60% of the work on site is over, wrapping up the project will require at least one more year.
