A serial pest repeatedly charged with harassing women outside abortion clinics refused to sign bail documents because they would ban him from continuing.
James Joseph Dowling, 65, was arrested while holding a 'vigil' outside Greenslopes Day Surgery, in Brisbane's inner south east, over the long weekend.
The anti-abortion campaigner was taken to a police holding cell to face a bail hearing on Monday in Brisbane's Magistrates Court.
But the court heard the Catholic Worker Movement member rejected the police's release papers because he objected to the conditions which would prevent him from going back to the protest before it wrapped up at 5pm on Monday.
