At Least 1 Dead After 6.9 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Taiwan, Prompting Rescue Efforts

Authorities reported at least one fatalitiy after a magnitude 6.9 earthquake rocked the self-governing island nation of Taiwan during the weekend. The tremor also caused damage to infrastructure and collapsed a three-story building where four people were rescued.
