Northern parts of england into wales, scotland, seeing impeachment inquiry. This is moving the heavy showers and thunderstorms. Very fast and were getting new reports the house is expected to they will be rattling eastward through the day. Nowhere is immune actually bring articles of impeachment by as early as november. To catching those heavy showers and gusty winds, especially through the we are talking about little less than eight weeks from now on we English Channel stop breezy could see the house actually vote on conditions here. It will feel cooler in recent days so 14 18. Still heavy the historic move to in pre impeached the sitting president. And showers as we move into the evening. Great confidence among democrats but they will slowly go to east overnight. The net next batch of what is the public mood . The latest rain moves into north west england as we start the day on saturday. With all the cloud, showers and breeze blowing, too, it will be a morning poll shows there is a rise mild night, dipping into double in support for impeachment. That number is up seven points to 43 and figures into single figures into parts of scotland. It will be more it actually includes, surprisingly, a number of republicans. Member, ofa parts of scotland. It will be more of a player later in the day. We President Donald Trump is start saturday with some shower and enjoying some of the guest emperor rain. Actually quite a lot of dry weather with sunshine in the store Approval Ratings among his base but we are seeing an uptick of for much of the day. It is later in the afternoon that we see the rain arriving in the south west of almost five points from republicans who believe that the president did england and wales and the winds are strengthening here. Into saturday do something wrong and should be impeached for it. There is growing night, that is where the low support not only on the street but pressure becomes more of a within the halls of congress over this issue facing president donald troublemaker, moving across southern parts of england and wales initially trump. It is a complicated issue, and then heading eastward through isnt it, about this phone call and the night. Strong, gusty winds. Who intercepted it and how it was later in the afternoon, we could see logged and who then blew the the gusts reaching about 60 mph as whistle. But very simply explained to us what is the theory here about the gusts reaching about 60 mph as the low pressure moves towards the east. Some heavy rain, gusty winds, what the president could have done wrong . The theory is that the moving eastwards. Later in the president had sought to handicap the afternoon, a bit more sunshine reappears but in all deliveries philip cooler. These are the gusts 2020 election by getting dirt on one of wind we will see even in the of his political opponents using a evening because of feel a bit foreign leader to do so and withholding appropriations, only that the us congress had already assigned to the ukraine as a result cooler. With the northerly breeze, of that. That is illegal. Many see things are turning cooler later on. To summarise the weekend, saturday that as blackmail and of course the is probably the better day for most president is now being taken to task places. The winds pick up overnight for it by congress. The thing about to bring us heavy rain and strong donald trump, as we have seen so gusty winds during sunday. It looks like the unsettled theme continues much before he was elected, since he into next week with further showers has elected, very often, when he is for monday and tuesday and you will backed against the wall and has start to notice, those temperatures people coming for him, he can will start to feel a bit colder, somehow turn it into a rise in too. We will see you later, sarah. Popularity. You can claim that he is doing the right thing and people will flock to his support, in the past. Could this happen again or is in the space ofjust three months, he running out of luck . We are Three Sisters have been diagnosed seeing the president actually used with cancer. And now they found out that very playbook in this growing why. Sandra, mary, and kerry lloyd crisis. However, this issue is a were among the first to take part in a study to map out little bit more black and white and their entire genome. A little bit more easy to discern by after three years of waiting, scientists have discovered the cause for two of them is a mutated gene. Voters tha n a little bit more easy to discern by voters than the mueller probe. Remember, we didnt hearfrom robert theyjoin us now with their sibling muller and we didnt even know what he was investigating. However, now bethan, who also carries the gene, we have a National Transcript where alongside drjulian barwell, a consultant in clinical genetics. The president is speaking to a foreign leader, seeking dirt on a welcome. Political opponent and that is an easy line for many people to let me talk to the for review to understand and that is why you see start with. 4. Sandra, that start Congress Moving at such a fast pace with this impeachment and right now you are seeing notjust the with the awful blow of one after the president but many of his closest other review. The space ofjust a supporters, namely william barr, on few months, discovering that you had Breast Cancer, just as a family, how the hills, working out how they are did that hit you . It was going to fight this. Thank you eric devastating, really hard, just ham forjoining us from washington. Devastating, really hard, just devastating to me just couldnt believe it. When it happened over a period of 15 months to you three, it is certainly turning. Sarah can tell us more. You have a rainbow for us. Tell us more. You have a rainbow for us. Good morning. Good morning to what point did it get to carry and you. Lots of rainbows to be spotted through the course of the weekend. We have mixed, unsettled weather. It you said hold on, something isnt is the time of year, in the quite right. It was strange. And sunshine, when you go about it can feel warm and pleasant, but also some torrential downpours, what could you have done about it . Thunderstorms and gusty winds at what did you do . Times. To summarise us today. Sunny spells, heavy, blustery showers, and luckily enough, through bethan we some thunderstorms, too. The present judge of our weather. It is setting met up with julian. Are you all ok . Out was the west of scotland at the moment. This area of low pressure will be drifting eastwards across northern parts of the uk. It is julian, this is where you pick up the story. Because when you have further south we will see the heavy showers and strong winds. This morning, having downpours for Northern Ireland, parts of three instances, in a family, four south west scotland, north west sisters, youre going to ask questions. What answers could you england. Heavy showers pushing into offer the seller we had already done wales late in the day and to the some genetic testing in the family. South east of that also some showers. We will be seeing winds overall, in fact, six months of the family had been infected with breast gusting around 40 mph, particularly cancer. We looked for the genes, along South West England, the south which are very high risk. Those are coast as well. It will be feeling a little cooler than recent days. 14 the ones, most people, angelina 18 degrees out there today. The jolie, had a double mastectomy because she was carrying that gene. First batch of showers slowly clears away from the east as we have that is the one people have heard written note. More showers working of. Yes. We had done further testing from the west. A soggy start to saturday morning, particularly for in two of the family members to find Northern Ireland, parts of southern other genes as well stop but when we scotland, and north west england. Included the lloyd family and the most of us still in double figures project we identified in two of them overnight. Quite mild with the breeze, the cloud, and the showery a change in a nullagine, another range. During saturday, the first area of low pressure klister the Breast Cancer susceptibility gene. So this gives you new insight into east. Then we have another area of low pressure moving in from the west later in the day. A bit of showery how genetics can affect or trigger ran across northern england, in particular, through the morning. Quite a lot of dry weather on the Breast Cancer . Absolutely. This is about personalising treatment in the cards for saturday. Some sunshine on longer term. So we are in a bethan offer. Temperatures up to about 19 better position now for people like degrees in the warmer spots. Most of to work out if they are at risk. And us degrees in the warmer spots. Most of us in the mid to high teens. We will from there you can start to do see the rain arriving late on things like prevent or detect breast saturday, courtesy of this area of cancer at an early stage. So, low pressure arriving in the south west, wringing some bethan, tell us your part in this, persisting, heavy rain and some so bethan, tell us your part in this, so to speak. You do carry this strong winds, especially on the southern edge of that low pressure bringing in some. Less windy mutation, is that the correct phrase to you use . But you havent had here. Gusev went 50 mph. Later in Breast Cancer. Had been given any the afternoon, they could touch 60 indication if you should be more mph gusty winds. Plenty of heavy showers on sunday, especially across mindful so you are fine. You have a england and wales. Showers later in clea n mindful so you are fine. You have a clean bill of health. Yes, i have. The day arriving across scotland and Northern Ireland. Strongest of the winds will be towards the south, you have been told not to worry . There is an increased risk. There is around 40 45 mph inland, strong around 40 45 mph inland, strong around the coast. It will start to the option for women like bethan to feel cool on sunday as well as we see the winds turning to a more think about preventative surgery. Northerly direction. 13 18 degrees there is also the wider family to as we move through sunday. Lots of consider. Her children can now come to the hospital and have a chat and weather happening. Sunshine and a some counselling to see if they are at risk. Sandra, how important has few showers. Watch out for heavy it been for you as sisters, is a rain and gales on sunday. There widerfamily, to it been for you as sisters, is a wider family, to get it been for you as sisters, is a widerfamily, to get some kind of could be some flooding issues, explanation what is going on for especially around the coast. Looking u nsettled especially around the coast. Looking unsettled into next week, not quite what you have been in a situation. It is important. Wejust as wet and windy. You will notice what you have been in a situation. It is important. We just wanted to the temperature start to dip down with the potential for night time know, sales of, why ask, why so frosts through next week. Thank you very much indeed. For lots of people many, and julian has helped us with that. And they have got this it is hard enough to find love out there. Not like you and me. Explanation, it is a complex genetic explanation, it is a complex genetic explanation, which do non laughter. Scientist, i dont really understand it. But you have some sort of i couldnt resist we talked about answer, what comfort doesnt give scammers all the time. Now these you . For me, personally, with julian disgusting people are targeting telling me that i carry the gene, i those who just simply want to find a can now move on and hopefully have bit of happiness. More and more. Surgery to prevent, you know, coming people who are looking for love online, lots of people who are now, back. Is that your plan . I think. Identify a while, are increasingly being taken in by scammers. The bbc spoke to one woman, elspet, who iam back. Is that your plan . I think. I am saying my oncologist next month and eye will see what he says and lives in the west country, she met a have a word with him, take advice from him. These are big decisions. Man, brian, on an app. It was ex marie, tell us about u four as a family, obviously this would have brought you together, anyway, you have something in common would military. He said he needed about £10,000 to move back to england, it have something in common would have brought you four. The support was only after she sent him £10,000 that she realised he was a we have offered each other and also fraudster. That is quite a typical from our widerfamily case. They are looking for we have offered each other and also from our wider family has we have offered each other and also from our widerfamily has really Vulnerable People on these sites. Been tremendous. And really helped women are more susceptible, to get us through this. And i think statistically, they gain their trust and take their money or steal their also, with this genetic testing and identity. This is a growing problem, with it being identified within our family, it means that the younger as we know. Last year there were more than 4500 reported incidents of romance scams. Each of the victims generation can also be tested. And thatis generation can also be tested. And that is obviously what you are so concerned about. And also lost around £11,000. Figures from preventative measures can be put in for them. And i think with the the banking trade body, uk finance, shows in the first top of this year advances of this diagnosis, because it is far more accurate than the the number of reported cases went up by 64 . More people are dating machines or gps, if you can identify online but proportionally the number of cases is going up as well. The that gene and your preventative work there. Talking about the wider majority are women. In the key thing family support, it must have been people are saying is dont rush into some kind of comfort and support you these things. It sounds really have three of you going through it obvious. Talk to your friends and family about people you have met at the same time, being able to online. And for Goodness Sake dont understand exactly what one and give money over until you are other had. We sort of lifted each certain who that person is. Always other. There were days when maybe check the profile of the person in mary would be down or carry and we would go round and help them and talk them through it and do what we an online relationship, run their name, their profile picture. Could. But it was a tremendous help, commonly used phrases, run that through your search engines. Also because like you say, they know run that the phrase dating scam. Exactly how we felt. We could talk talk through your dating choices to you for a very long time. One with your friends and family. If you thing i want to say, good luck with do meet up with someone, let your your surgery to all of you as well. Friends and family know where youre going and who you are going to meet. Thank you so much for coming in and and please, please, please do not talking to us. And thank you, dr pa rt and please, please, please do not part with any money, do not hand over your bank account details, do not send money abroad and really dig julian barwell, talking to us. And thank you, dr julian ba rwell, as talking to us. And thank you, dr julian barwell, as well. The discovery will offer people hope, but lots of questions as well. I into the detail of the profile of suppose the thing is to just keep that individual. And if you do or talking to your gp. Talk to your doctor if you have a Strong Family you have a new lost money, can you history of Breast Cancer. Even if get that . The problem is, because genetic testing has taken place in the past, it may be possible that you have given this money willingly, you have given this money willingly, further tests could take place. This you have given this money willingly, you have shared your bank details, you have shared your bank details, you have shared your bank details, you have given it to this person, it isa further tests could take place. This is a good demonstration of the nhs isa you have given it to this person, it is a banks discretion whether to give it back. Last year was working with families. And we would like to thank all of our patients. It also with the university as well. Estimated £8 million was given to scammers in the space of six months and three dating apps, only £500,000 sandra, bethan mary, it also with the university as well. Sandra, bethan mary, carry, thank you very much. Khairy. Was given back. Elspet said she felt really depressed and humiliated because of it. Theres a big problem wildflowers on road verges are one of the last remaining refuges and people need to take care. All of for many birds and bugs, according this, the reason we are talking to a National Conservation charity. Plantlife is urging councils to give about this. It is because match. Com flowers time to grow, and to cut back on mowing verges to save both plants and animals. Has been found to be not as vigilant lets cross now to our reporter tim muffett, who is at a verge about scammers, knowing there were in bangorfor us this morning, tim. Scammers on the outcome in the us. How did you feel when you are being fraudulent people using the app was told that you are being sent to a grass verge . I am in north wales. We seeking relationships with people and they were robots or people after their details. They have been accused of not being vigilant enough for people who had not yet signed up are admiring some beautiful views, i will have you know. Look at this to the apps, a kind of fishing grass verge. There are more than 300,000 miles of grass verge is running alongside uk roads. They expedition. It could cost them tens of millions of dollars. Right. Huge dont quite lookjust pleasant, they numbers. And it is people putting play a huge role for the flora and the heart and soul out there looking fauna. They support 700 species of for happiness. It is really sad. Thank you. We are going to cheer you flour. Some people say they are being cut too often and at the wrong up. Time of year. Trevor, let me when the world athletics championships get underway in doha today with britains biggest medal hopes lying with Dina Asher Smith. You went, you are a specialist the sprinter is going for gold sin botanist. What are we doing wrong . The 100 metre, 200 metre and four by 100 relay race. Weve been catching up with her. We are cutting them too early and too frequently. We want lesson later. That gives a chance for the wildflowers to bloom and said their seeds. At the moment we are seeing a rain of seeds coming down into the villages. And if we are delaying the Dina Asher Smith, is she going to cutting until august or september, get there on the line . i think she that gives a chance for the flowers to do their bit. It is also good for is talking about i am going to peak late pollinators, the bees and butterflies that need the late feast in september, i will picken of nectar. Many councils cut them september, the wells are in september, the wells are in september, obviously able peak in four times a year. What do you say . September. Earlier in the people did not believe me. One across the line it was like yes, fabulous, to, happy we say twice a year, august or me. Then i remembered it was a september, the first cutlet in the diamond league. Obviously, as any air, and if you need to another one in the spring cut late in the. It athlete, we are going to pick for is between april and august you need the championship. That is what were to let the flowers do their thing. Here for. At the limbic games, that what kind of thing do you find in a is where will do our thing. And so, roadside verge . You will be familiar hopefully, the World Championships will be a good offer me olympic games. Looking at doha, you are with the daisies, the lovely blue flower, that is quite rare, that is doubling up, you are featuring in the relay. The fitness required for the only food planned for a butterfly. We estimate if we do the that, i sure you not underestimated that. They have been putting me through my paces for a long time to guidelines on the entire road Verge Network we could bring 400 billion flowers back into the countryside. Prepare for this. When we came off london 2017 and we went into thank you very much. It is amazing training for 18 that is when we made the decision that my next World Championships we were dubler. To be the variety of flowers you do get fair, that is the kind of day period here. Notjust the variety of flowers you do get here. Not just pla ntlife the variety of flowers you do get here. Notjust plantlife charity, you need to develop the strength to but other organisations, highways be able put together six litres standard sprint races in the england, Natural England as well, championship and then recover and go and organisations in scotlands me ntally championship and then recover and go mentally and physically be ready for wales, Northern Ireland, they are being told to rethink what they do with their roadside verges. Do we the relay. So we have been preparing have permission to leave our lawns on mode as well, maybe . No. Nice try for a very long time. That is why the decision to double up is not what they have taken lightly, it is not a flippant decision, it is though unknown. Something we have worked towards the past something we have worked towards the pa st two something we have worked towards the on mode as well, maybe . No. Nice try though unknown. Iwas looking past two years. You have been really on mode as well, maybe . No. Nice try though unknown. I was looking for an excuse. Courageous, is the word im going to as more of us try and do our bit use, because you havent shied away from racing against any of the top to tackle climate change, so called green energy girls. How has that been mentally, companies and tariffs stepping on the track and knowing are becoming more popular. But are they all theyve cracked up to be . Ninas looking into this one for us. You have to bring a game every nina . Single time . I think its been really good for me mentally, the answer is no they are not. Were actually. They have this thing in my Training Group when i am going to go and raise. And they ask you why you talking about greenwashing. That is raising . Everybody, every week, Energy Companies are alleged to be misleading customers aboutjust how everybody, everybody. No excuses, green the Green Energy Tariffs are. Run as fast as you can deal with the we talk to result. Especially when going into the World Championships, you never know what will happen. The fact that i have kind of done that and had the practice on the circuit this year, rik smith, an energy think itll do me well the world expert from the company uswitch. Championships. Dina ashersmith people seeing 100 renewable, it is takes the title a new british a dealmakerfor them. Record, she has done it again . When people seeing 100 renewable, it is a dealmaker for them. It people seeing 100 renewable, it is a dealmakerfor them. It is fair to you speak about sprinting in the uk, assume it is coming from renewable sources. The important thing to men or women coming on and comes remember is where something is first. We know you are keen to marked as 100 renewable, the directed away from you. Do you sometimes feel like, ok, im feeling electricity has been much, at the now, a little bit of a weight of very least by renewable generation. In terms of any National Grid, what expectation . Weirdly enough they everyone is remember is the wire dont. Think it is because a tune that you have got into your house out of social media, because they have been very clear what my arms up isnt going to be unplugged from a for this season. And we dont really gas power station and plugged into a windmill by switching your energy publicly disclosed that until supply. The National Grid and the afterwards. And that is deliberately to control expectation, because electrons are all the same in the everybody is so supportive and they flow from the generation sources, are so everybody is so supportive and they are so like wanting you to do well, which may be out in the north sea, to your home, one way or another. But sometimes they kind of get you are funding green energy, but caught up and they will throw things indirectly. Thats right. We go back and they will start to spiral a new will be like hold on a second, my to what happens when you buy a aim was to do this, but you will say renewable Energy Tariffs at home. There are effectively three ways in this, and gets a bit of control. Which you can end up buying know i always keep my aims and my Renewable Energy. The first way is personal goals and what i think i can do close to my chest. It is where the Energy Supplier has themselves got some windmills something that is nice to think it awesome solar panels in the fields. Is something refreshing, a british female sprinter they are going out and they themselves generated and there and they expect you to do x, sell it you as a customer. Nice and y, z. Straightforward. An alternative is there and they expect you to do x, y, 2. It is good to see the gigabits best, hopefully, in the finals, that the Energy Supplier has got relationships with those who do own smiling. So its very nice, its the windmills or the solar panels in very nice. The windmills or the solar panels in the fields and seller directly to you. What happens there is the she is such an impressive woman, electricity comes with a isnt she . Dina asher smith, go for certificate, which is a guarantee it. Good luck to her and all the has been generated by renewable electricity. That is passed on to you as a customer. Everyone is happy team. It feels like we have been you as a customer. Everyone is happy waiting for these championships for you have some renewable generation. Ages. Good luck in the heat as well. Coverage starts on bbc 2 those two ways is how people will think of a Renewable Energy deal. At 1 45 this afternoon. Is nearly seven oclock. Prince there is also a third way. The third way is where the renewable harry is going to be retracing his generation happens, but that actually guarantee of green energy has been split from the electricity mother s minefield walk in angola. And is separately sold on a we have got these pictures come secondary market in order to help effectively demonstrate that the alive. This is live in angola this electricity being sold to a customer morning. You see prince harry, just has been matched by renewable to the left of the centre there, generation. Even though your getting his briefing. It is no electricity could come from coal or longer a minefield. It has been totally cleared since his mother was gas, you are in some ways funding there. This is a very symbolic and Renewable Energy. People will say does it make a difference and should poignant moment for him. Absolutely. We be buying these 100 renewable and the picture of Princess Diana labels if it is not exactly that . The thing to remember is buying a and those minefield that started the action to read as much land as Renewable Energy tariff you are demonstrating to the market that there is appetite and demand these possible of minefields and the green energy deals. That is the thing that will send the signal to terrible injuries that come as a the market that there is greater result. We will keep you up to date appetite and demand and a need for with that trip. But first you need more Renewable Energy in the uk. Ok, to find out what is happening where you are this morning. We will see you are this morning. We will see you at seven oclock. Many thanks. Which have said it is up many thanks. Which have said it is up to you, talk to your supplier, good morning from bbc london, im sonja jessup. The Prime Ministers advisor Dominic Cummings was confronted bya labourmp. In a speech later he described brexit as a walk in the park. The owners of a british tanker seized by iran injuly say its preparing to leave port today. More claims that donald trump tried to cover up a phone call he had with the president of ukraine. The number of online daters falling victim to so called romance fraud rises significantly ill be finding out how to spot the signs of a dating scam. Good morning. The wait is over and the heat is on. The world athletics championships get underway in doha later with britains athletes set to endure scorching temperatures as they bid for gold medal glory. Good morning. We have got a bit of blue sky and sunshine out there this morning, but we have heavy showers on the cards for you today and wet and windy weather through the weekend too. Ill bring you all the details in about 15 minutes. Morning, everyone. Its friday 27th september. Our top story. More than 100 bishops and archbishops have signed a letter saying the tone of the Brexit Debate has becomne unacceptable and calling for more respect. The intervention follows angry scenes in the house of commons after the Supreme Court ruled the suspension of parliament was unlawful. We can get more on this now from our Political Correspondent Jonathan Blake whos in westminster this morning. Jonathan, we cant really underestimate the impact of, you know, all the bishops and archbishops of the church of england coming together to tell mps are literally, to get their house in order and their language. Yes, there is clearly concern there, that is in response to an extraordinary week here at westminster when mps returned after the prorogation, or suspension of polomat was ruled unlawful and the church of england bishops, as you say, describing the level of debate as unacceptable and hitting out against the use of language suspension of parliament. And also calling on all parties to respect the rule of law and the independence of the judiciary. We have heard from all sides, an appeal for calm. Judiciary. We have heard from all sides, an appealfor calm. The Prime Minister himself acknowledged the temperature needed to come down, but his Senior Adviser Dominic Cummings is someone who has struck a slightly more defiant tone, speaking last night at a book launch, he said it should not be surprising that a lot of people are angry that brexit hasnt happened. He talked about mps swerving all over the shop after the result of the referendum in 2016. And effectively had the message of, what do you expect . Although he said threats of violence against people on all sides, both those who campaigned previously to leave and remain should be taken seriously. Those comments came after he was confronted in parliament by the labourmp karl confronted in parliament by the labour mp karl turner confronted in parliament by the labourmp karl turner in confronted in parliament by the labour mp karl turner in an angry exchange, accusing him of being a disgrace and his use of language and the Prime Ministers use of languor to be disgraceful. Dominic cummingss response to that was to get brexit done. So the temperature in parliament, although mps will not be sitting today, continues to remain ata be sitting today, continues to remain at a high level, at an acrimonious level, although perhaps as mps are away from Parliament Todayit as mps are away from Parliament Today it will be an opportunity for people to pause and take a breath. Indeed. But ill tell you what, while all of that is going on, of course, there are still simmering tensions when it comes to the former Prime Ministerjohn major, who has cast some doubt about whether or not borisjohnson cast some doubt about whether or not Boris Johnson can or will cast some doubt about whether or not borisjohnson can or will be forced to avoid no deal brexit on october 31. Yes, sirjohn majors potential a nswer to 31. Yes, sirjohn majors potential answer to the question that has posed itself by the Prime Minister, saying that he will abide by the rule of law, but also has no intention of asking for an extension to the brexit deadline, which he is required to do now by law if no deal is done by october 19. Sirjohn major suggesting the government may get round that by using something called an order in council, which is effectively a way of changing the law without the need for parliamentary approval. No comment from downing street in terms of whether that is what they are going to do but last night the chairman of the conservative Party James Cleverly did the conservative Party James Cleverly d id not the conservative Party James Cleverly did not rule it out. Jonathan, good to talk to you. Thanks for taking us through all of that. Jonathan blake there. Another brexit story for you this morning. The governments preparations to ensure supplies of vital medicines and equipment for the nhs are not disrupted in the event of a no deal brexit have been strongly criticised. The National Audit office says there is still a significant amount of work to do before the brexit deadline of october 31st. The department for health and social care says it wants to reassure patients its doing everything it can to make sure they can access the medicines they need. A british tanker seized by iranian troops is preparing to leave the port where its been detained sincejuly, according to its owners. The stena impero was detained by irans revolutionary guards for alleged marine violations two weeks after britain seized an iranian tanker off the territory of gibraltar. Lets get the latest now from our reporter andy moore. Andy, what have you worked out . There is some confusion about whether the ship had left or not. Yes, this is the ship that was seized 70 days ago in the port of home use and has been in port ever since. A few days ago the iranian authorities said it was free to leave but then there was no movement. Ive spoken to the swedish owners this morning and they said only that the ship was preparing to leave. One marine tracking website said it is already on the move and an iranian journalist has tweeted some video that he claims shows the ship raising its anger. There is every indication that if it isnt already on the move it will be fairly shortly. There is a 16 crew left on board, mainly indians, some russians, one filipino, seven other nonessential crewmembers were allowed to go home seven days ago. If the ship is on the move that will be welcomed by the International Committee and will represent a lowering of tension. Thank you for the update, andy. The whistleblower whose complaint has led to an impeachment inquiry against donald trump is a cia officer who once worked in the white house, according to us media. According to us reports the unnamed officer once worked in the white house. Its alleged that mr trump pushed the ukrainian president to investigate joe biden, one of the frontrunners hoping to challenge him in next years president ial election. A british couple in their seventies have beenjailed in portugal for drug smuggling on a cruise ship. Roger and susan clarke, who are both 72, were caught last year while attempting to smuggle nine kilograms of cocaine, with a street value of £1 million. Damian grammaticas sent this report from lisbon. Lisbon beautiful in the autumn sun. Last december, a different ship was here. The marco polo, just arrived from the caribbean. In cabin 469, roger and sue clarke, pensioners who took frequent, costly cruises, living beyond their modest income. Police had noticed. Today, the couple, both 72 years old, were brought to court in handcuffs. Sentenced to eight years each for drug smuggling. As the judge spoke, sue dropped her head in tears and roger, also shaken, turned to her and said, ill be nearly 80 when i get out. Its ridiculous as he left the court, he turned to me and said, the truth needs to come out. Come and visit me in prison. But the truth is the couple have a history. This was roger injail in norway, caught 15 years ago with 200kg of cannabis hidden in his car. And recently frequent trips to jamaica the photo they took from their hotel, the wedding they attended. But Police Caught them with these cases. Empty ones for a friend, they said. The drugs officer who raided their cabin found more than £1 million of cocaine in the lining of the bags. Translation at first, they acted confident. They said, youre not going to find anything. But afterwards, they admitted theyd known all along the cases had drugs. Now, instead of enjoying their sunset years, the couple may be spending the rest of them behind bars. Damian grammaticas, bbc news, lisbon. The swiss city of geneva and its surrounding areas have been plunged into darkness overnight. Its to try to raise awareness about Light Pollution, which stops us from seeing the night sky and stars properly. This was the city and all the surroundings. The lights were turned off. Most of them were turned off. Looks like somebody didnt get the memo. But the lights off to raise awareness. How do you get a stroppy teenager to do what you want . Im notjust asking. Why were you looking at me . Well, researchers at Cardiff University think theyve come up with the answer. It analysed 1,000 youngsters during fairly standard arguments, like parents trying to get their children to do their homework. It found that a controlling tone of voice brought out the most negative response. No one likes to be bossed about, do they . It is kind of common sense. It is frustrating, isnt it . A p pa re ntly it is frustrating, isnt it . Apparently if you use a more supportive, calming voice, according to the researchers, you get a better reaction. Are you surprised . It is how you do it. In the heat of the moment, the income of supportive. Of course you are. Lets ta ke lets take you back to 1997. This is the moment Princess Diana walked through a minefield in angola, wanting to raise awareness of the dangers. This morning prince harry has litethe prince met staff from a landmine charity and chatted to members of the community. Our royal correspondent Nicholas Witchell sent us this report. It is 17 years since the civil war in angola ended, yet there are still more than 1000 minefield is scattered across the country. Prince harry, following the lead set by his mother who came to angola in 1997 shortly before her death and highlighted the whole issue of minefields, he arrived here a short time ago, he had a briefing on this particular minefield close to the border with namibia. He has now gone into the minefield, he has seen the painstaking work which is done by the mine clearers, inching their way through the minefield metre by metre, checking for mines. When they find one it is removed. Very shortly, harry will be detonating one of the mines found in this minefield. It is a huge problem in this country which they are now tackling with the help of the halo trust, that is a British Organisation leading the de mining effort in angola. Later, harry will go on the city of haribo, where his mother Princess Diana came in 1997. Those unforgettable images of her walking through a minefield which led eventually to the passing of the ottawa convention, which finally criminalise the use of antipersonnel landmines. Huambo. Criminalise the use of antipersonnel landmines. Huambo. Nicholas witchell with prince harry in angola. Joining us now is camille wallen, director of strategy at the landmine charity the halo trust. Welcome. Good morning to you. How important is this . A really significant moment, as we saw in 1997 Princess Diana really helped raise awareness of the issue of landmines and the plight that people who live with land mines have every day and she really brought that to the global attention. It effectively transformed what we do and transformed what we do and transformed it for those people. They really felt they were being heard and their plight was being seen, so having prince harry go back todayis seen, so having prince harry go back today is really significant and he is helping to not only remind the world landmines are notjust a thing of the past, but decades after conflict they remain in the ground and threaten people thes lives. But he shows that the impact of mine clea ra nce he shows that the impact of mine clearance when he goes back to the minefield this afternoon that his mother walked on 22 years ago, and it isa mother walked on 22 years ago, and it is a completely different place. It has been completely transformed from scrubland to a Bustling Community with houses and schools and shops. It is interesting because we know that dianas visit made a big difference. But i guess what he is doing today is saying it might have made a difference but this is still a massive problem. Exactly. There are still just over a massive problem. Exactly. There are stilljust over 1100 minefields left in angola. What we will see todayis left in angola. What we will see today is the impact of what we can achieve when we complete clearance. Countries can be completed. In 2015 mozambique was completely cleared of landmines but unfortunately there are still many countries left in the world that have a landmine problem and over 60 Million People who are still affected by mines. What is the push in terms of wife some countries are not being cleared of these mines quickly enough . There are varying factors. Predominantly, we often see issues of access when insecurity prevents us from getting in and clearing the mines. But also, the mine issue isnt far enough up the political agenda so it is about getting the political engagement. You mention some countries that have done that, so how come they have embraced that, so to speak . What other countries that have the sticking points at the moment . Predominantly, it tends to be down to funding and political engagement. Where there is a combination of a country that doesnt appear high enough up the aid spectrum. Angola, for example, has seen a dip in funding in recent years but this year is a really good news story because we have seen increased engagement from the angolan government themselves and they have committed 60 million to clear all the minefields in the south east where prince harry is this morning. When you see prince harry, or the government sees prince harry there, thats almost like the reward for it and the incentivise asian. Exactly. What is really interesting about where prince harry was visiting this morning as it is raising an awareness of a lesser known impact of mines, it is an area in the headwaters of the quevega dealt at one of the most rich biodiversity areas in the whole of ack vicar and by clearing landmines there with the assistance from the angolan government contribution but also seeking other funding to complete thatjob, there will be a National Parks that open and open up space for conservation as well. Okavango delta. He has the protective jacket on, this is dangerous work your guys are doing out there, finding the mines and diffusing the mines and then guaranteeing that it is clear. Can you ever be sure that an area is safe . You ever be sure that an area is safe . We work to really high, stringent standards and every centimetre of land is run over at least two or three times in terms of quality checks. When a country is cleared of mines, it is effectively cleared of mines, it is effectively cleared of mines, it is effectively cleared of all known minefields. It is hard to tell, there may be minefields found in the future in an area that wasnt yet used. But that is why we need to constantly keep putting the pressure on and raising awareness that this is an issue that still needs funding, still needs political attention, still really needs that engagement but can be done, to something that can be achieved, as we saw with mozambique and we hope that angola can achieve its landmine free gold by 2025. Thank you very much indeed. It is 8 17am. Thanks forjoining us this morning on breakfast. We have sarah with us this morning. That looks like it has been put through four of five filters. I hope it hasnt it hasnt. This is the scene in london this morning, beautiful skies around at the moment. Dont get too used to it because we have seen heavy showers across much of the country today. It will be one of those days, some sunshine but equally heavy and blustery showers and a few thunderstorms mixed in with the heavy showers. Nowhere immune to catching some passing downpours at times today. We have this area of low pressure in charge of drifting slowly eastwards and weather fronts rotating around the area of low pressure, so they will p9p up area of low pressure, so they will pep up the heavy showers at times. The heaviest of the downpours this morning mostly in the west, parts of Northern Ireland have already seen them, north west england, wales, southern parts of england seeing showers, gusty winds, 40 45 Miles Per Hour windus as the heavy showers rattle eastwards through the day. Northern ireland and western scotla nd Northern Ireland and western scotland brightening up this afternoon, fewer showers here, temperature 14 18dc, a touch cooler than recent days. The first batch of showers close away towards the east as we move through tonight, but more rain works in across Northern Ireland, south west scotland and north west england, so many of us start saturday with a few outbreaks of rain, some cloud around and it will be reasonably miles start of the weekend. On saturday we get rid of the area of low pressure from the east but we open the doors for the next area of low pressure to move in from the south west, that will be more of a troublemaker late in the day. Some showery rain initially in parts of northern england, quite a lot of dry weather with sunshine for much of the day. Later in the afternoon, thats when the heavy rain arrives across parts of south wales, South West England and the winds will really pick up. Here is this area of low pressure as it moves this area of low pressure as it m oves a cross this area of low pressure as it moves across the southern half of the uk through saturday night and on into sunday. We will see persistent heavy rainfall as well as some strong gusty winds. The gusts reaching 50 mph in the south west through sunday morning. Later in the afternoon, they could reach 60 mph across parts of east anglia. Windy conditions for many areas especially across england and wales. Heavy downpours working west to east, a bit more sunshine developing from the north as we see a northerly breeze through the course of the afternoon. Some gusty winds, gusting about 40 45 mph inland and around the coasts. The northerly wind we will see temperatures a little cooler, only 13 18d. To summarise the weekend, saturday probably the better day for most places, sunny spells and a few showers around. Sunday will bring more heavy rain and Gale Force Gusts of wind as well. Be prepared for an unsettled weekend. Next week it stays fairly showery and it is turning a little bit cooler. Thank you very much indeed, sarah. We know that love can be a tricky game, it is easy to have your heart broken but it is also easy to be scammed. It is wicket what we are about to talk about. Good morning, nina. We were saying, if you are out there looking for companionship and looking for companionship and looking to change your life, and its another platform for fraudsters to find victims. It is really heartbreaking, and increasing the number of people who have signed up for dating apps and then have been completely exploited by fraudsters. Here is a classic example, we spoke to a lady called elspet, 67, lives in the west country, who met a man online who claimed to be in the military said he needed £10,000 to carry all of his belongings home and then they could set up home together and she never heard from him again and then realised he was a fraudster. It is just horrible. What can you do about this . Im assuming it is happening more and more now. It is happening will action fraud, the reporting centre, said last year there were an estimated 4500 reported incidents of romance scams, more than 4500, and they lost an average of £11,000 each. Thats the average . Some of them lost a lot more. That was an increase on the other four of 64 so it is happening a lot more. There are some basic advice, it sounds basic but you can see why people get carried away, dont rush into things, take your time with online relationships, talk to family and friends because they will hear the alarm bells ringing on your behalf. Dont send money to somebody you have just met. Behalf. Dont send money to somebody you havejust met. It behalf. Dont send money to somebody you have just met. It sounds obvious but obviously people have been taken in. Elspet said she ended up feeling really stu pid in. Elspet said she ended up feeling really stupid and depressed and really stupid and depressed and really regrets it. Humiliated as well. She is trying to raise awareness for other people. 7 Million People are registered on these apps and one in three relationships starts online, so three relationships starts online, so dont give up, thats what i would say. You would think when you hear the request for £10,000, how can anybody think that, the alarm bells would start ringing but you are in a vulnerable situation. You put yourself out there and you are building up trust. It can happen over months and months, there are really sophisticated. Thank you, nina. As weve been hearing this morning, more than 100 bishops and archbishops have signed a letter saying the tone of the Brexit Debate has become unacceptable and calling for more respect from politicans on all sides. The prime minsters comments about the murdered mpjo cox caused a particular backlash. As you said, the comments and accusations came from all sides. Breakfastsjohn maguire is in jo coxs former constituency in West Yorkshire for us this morning. Good morning. As you are absolutely right to say, those comments from all sides, notjust in the commons, but this is Party Conference season, of course. Some of the language we here at the conferences, if we think about it in the cold light of day, might be deemed to be unacceptable really considering the phil brown nature of the debate at the moment about whether to leave and whether to remain and how to leave etc etc. Those sorts of arguments happening not just those sorts of arguments happening notjust in those sorts of arguments happening not just in families those sorts of arguments happening notjust in families and in communities but within and without Political Parties and places like this. This community and family lives in this community that realises the ultimate prize has been paid. We will not betray the people who sent us here. Many of us in this place are subject to Death Threats and abuse every single day. I have to say, mr speaker, i have never heard such humbug in all my life. This week in westminster, as the debate raged, mps argued over the murder of one of their own. The best way to honour the memory ofjo cox and, indeed, the best way to bring this country together would be, i think, to get brexit done. Four years ago, in the same chamber, jo coxs maiden speech called for unity and understanding. The thing that surprises me, time and time again as i travel around the constituency, is that we are far more united and have far more in common and that which divides us. The prophetic words ofjo coxs maiden speech, which resonate now more than ever. And nowhere more than in herformer constituency in yorkshire where i meet her sister kim. There are two important things. One, jos dead. Jo was killed. She was shot and stabbed to death in the street. That happened. Thats my reality. 0k. And the second thing is, what we mustnt do is usejos name to silence the debate. Because thats the last thing she would want, its the last thing i want. You have to find some middle ground. Hes being held captive by his colleagues. Whats said in the commons is heard across the land. If a leader of a country uses bad language it affects us, because we are the minority here and people think if he can say those things everybody else can say as well. The way some of the mps were carrying on and the way that they criticise each other is none other than shameful in my view. Jo coxs murder arejust a few miles from here. Jo cox was murdered just a few miles from here. The Foundation Set up in her name aims to bring communities together. Discourse and language are key areas of concern. Were working to devise a standard of conduct, a standard of behaviour, that we can get politicians to sign up to. So were working on that already. And what im pleased to see is the aftermath of the other evening, people were saying those sorts of things. This parliament is a dead parliament this Prime Minister to talk about morals passions are running high in westminster, just as they are elsewhere, but when the divisive and inflammatory debate spills over there are people here who understand all too well what can happen. John maguire, bbc news, batley. The friday morning marketjust sitting behind me. It strikes me thatis sitting behind me. It strikes me that is a Perfect Place for a community to gather, to chat, to discuss things in a neutral environment, if you like. One thing that Kim Leadbeater was stressing to me when we spoke in the marketplace yesterday is a lot of people are scared to speak out and fearful of discussing these issues, and as she said to me, that cannot be good for democracy. Back to you. It has been an intense week, so much hate. Lets take a break and we will see you in a few minutes, to find out what is happening where you are this morning. Hi, there. Good morning. Weve had a lot of rainfall over the last few days, lots of showers have been in the forecast and for today, more showers expected with an area of low pressure. You can just see from the satellite imagery. But i want to draw your attention to this area of cloud here in the middle of the atlantic. Thats going to give us some very wet and windy weather throughout this weekend. For today, its well worth keeping an umbrella handy. Showers moving their way from west to east, some strong winds, particularly down towards the south west. As this band of showers moves further eastward, there will be some sunnier spells across wales, the midlands, Northern Ireland and across the west of scotland. Temperatures down a little bit on yesterday at 14 18 degrees. Heres that area of low pressure. Its still with us as we go into saturday. Another couple of features just coming through there across northern parts, so further showers likely during saturday, moving from west to east. Some sunshine at times, particularly during the afternoon in northern areas, but in the south west, thats where we will see the cloud thickening with further rain spreading in and temperatures on saturday 14 18 or 19 degrees. But its that rain in the south west thats all linked into this area of low pressure. Its going to track in and that are some uncertainties as to how far north this area of low pressure will move in but, likely through into sunday morning, heavy rain spreading north and easward and with that some strong winds, gales, particularly around coastal areas. So, a wet start to sunday. Some uncertainty as to how far north that rainfall will be, but for southern scotland, its likely youll see some rain here. Gradually, its all going to move its way eastwards. By the afternoon, theyll be some sunnier spells. The winds easingdown a touch into the afternoon but its still going to be a fairly blustery afternoon to come and its going to feel quite chilly, as well, with maximum temperatures 13 17 or 18 degrees celsius. As we go into next week, it remains a little bit unsettled with some pretty chilly days. Bye bye. This is business live from bbc news with susannah streeter andvictoria fritz.
