The college basketball world shook a little beneath our feet last week when the Texas Longhorns announced the hiring of Chris Beard as the program’s new basketball coach.
Beard replaces Shaka Smart. He also leaves behind a somewhat talented team in the Texas Tech Red Raiders. That is, it was a talented team. Now, at least two Tech players have hit the transfer portal since the announcement of Beard’s big move to Austin, 247Sports reports.
