The Red Sox have agreed to a one-year, $3 million deal with utility man Marwin Gonzalez, a baseball source confirmed. The deal, which was first reported by MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand, includes $1.1 million in performance bonuses based on plate appearances, meaning Gonzalez’s salary could max out at $4.1 million in 2021.
