Brandon man, 27, struck and killed while sitting on Causeway Boulevard, troopers say
A 78-year-old Wimauma man was driving east in the outside lane on Causeway Boulevard when his SUV struck the man, killing him at the scene.

TAMPA — A 27-year-old Brandon man was struck and killed by an SUV early Sunday while he was sitting or laying the middle of Causeway Boulevard, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Troopers said the collision occurred at about 6:20 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Causeway Boulevard, near 82nd Street South in the Palm River-Clair Mel area.
