Buckeyes to Compete at Big Five Meet

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 21 Ohio State women’s gymnastics team heads to College Park, Md., to compete in the Big Five Meet on Friday at 5 p.m. The Buckeyes will face No. 8 Minnesota, No. 19 Illinois, Maryland and Nebraska.

Ohio State won its third meet in a row with a season-best 196.400 triumph in a tri-meet with Maryland and Penn State. Ella Hodges scored a career-high 9.950 to win the beam title, the highest mark by a Buckeye on any apparatus this season. As a team, Ohio State set season highs on vault (49.175) and beam (49.225). Jenna Swartzentruber earned a share of the bars crown with a 9.900.
