Dr. Anthony Williams became vice president and chief quality officer at Washington Regional Medical Center recently. Williams first joined Washington Regional as a hospitalist in 2007. He then served as the chief quality officer at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson, Tenn., before returning to Washington Regional in 2014 as the director of hospital medicine. He attended medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Fayetteville and completed a residency in internal medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.
