Tell us about yourself and your place: Cory and Cathrine Robbins recently took over Hoplite in Carolina Beach.
Cory Robbins is a Graduate of Columbia College’s culinary program in Sonora, California. There he met his wife, Cathrine, while in college. After college Cory Robbins did his internship under a master chef in Yosemite National Park at the Mountain Room. He then went onto managing (sous chef) at a restaurant and went onto Fresno State University, where he later graduated.
