now to a chicken shortage, causing local restaurants to make big changes. 12 years, Courtney Sisk is live for us here tonight at Stacy's Tavern and grill and walker's point Courtney chicken wing specials now are on pause and Ben, who wouldn't want to catch a game and enjoy some chicken wings here on a saturday at Stephanie's, you can still do that. However, it's going to cost you a lot more and it's going to cost them more to and that's because there is a chicken shortage and the demand for wings is still high. Now there are a few factors that chicken distributors believe are contributing to the shortage. They say storms that tore through the south and the polar freeze that hit texas wiped out livestock. However, they also say the worker shortage due to the pandemic plays a role. There aren't enough factory workers to get the wings out to the community here at studies, they had to temporarily cancel their 75 cent wings special and the prices cut just to break even. I know that other restaurants are just not having wings at all. Um, some of the big wing restaurants to are just closing their doors, which we don't want to do. So we're just trying to roll with the punches, raising those prices a little bit so we can at least break even. But able to supply people with what they love coming to studies for is our wings. And those wings are a big hit. Courtney talking about prices here. How much more is chicken costing customers? Well, they're saying per small order it could cost 3 to $4 more than usual. Will have additional details on these new costs tonight at 10. All right, we'll see then Courtney. Sisk live for us here tonight at second national in Milwaukee. Courtney, thank you.
