City OKs land sale for Bill Miller Bar-B-Q to move out of downtown San Antonio and into West Side

Bill Miller Bar-B-Q has operated its headquarters out of the same downtown location since 1971. The Bill Miller Bar-B-Q Enterprises chain received city approval Thursday to move its headquarters out of downtown, where it's resided for 50 years, and into new digs on the far West Side.
Council unanimously approved the sale of 57 acres of city land at Highway 151 and Old Highway 90 to Brazos De Santos Partners Ltd., a partnership affiliated with the restaurant group's owning family. The land purchase totals $3.05 million.
