Community Briefs: First Friday, Hills Pathway Run

Next First Friday scheduled May 7
The May First Friday event, scheduled 6-8 p.m. May 7 in downtown Los Altos, will feature the theme “Dancing in the Streets.”
Highlights will include a dance performance by the Mountain View High School Spartan Dance Club at Veterans Community Plaza, followed by live music all around downtown by a variety of bands.
The monthly events, which aim to draw visitors to downtown restaurants and shops, feature entertainment, special promotions and themed games and activities.
Organizers held their first in-person event in more than a year April 2, which attracted a large crowd.
