Community weighs-in on hopes for American Rescue Plan

Jones hopes that the $1.9 trillion dollar plan will not only local small businesses but also schools.
“As a former educator I would like to see some schools get some assistance,” said Jones.
In a statement, Governor Gavin Newsom said "The American Rescue Plan will help California roar back from this pandemic.”
The statement goes on to say “with this infusion of federal stimulus, California can make faster progress on responding to COVID, supporting small businesses, putting money in people’s pockets, and bolstering K-12 and higher education.”
Part of the American Rescue Plan includes $350 billion in aid to state and local governments, $50 billion dollars will go towards small businesses, and $130 billion would go towards K-12 schools.
