KYLE Coney has announced his retirement from intercounty football via a GPA statement issued this evening.
The classy Ardboe forward had a fairly stop-start intercounty career after coming to national prominence as a gifted minor footballer.
He spearheaded Tyrone’s All-Ireland Minor Championship triumph in 2008, winning the man of the man award for a starring performance in the final replay against Mayo.
