Detectives used DNA left on bottle that an alleged bank robber pretended was a gun during a 2019 holdup at a Burlington County bank to identify him, police said.
Courtney Bell, 36, of Browns Mills, was charged with robbery, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, and theft, the New Jersey State Police announced Tuesday.
The robbery happened on July 23, 2019 at at a TD Bank on Elizabeth Street in Pemberton Borough when a man entered, demanded cash and allegedly threatened to shoot the staff if they did not comply with his demands, according a statement from the New Jersey State Police.
