I am really grateful you all came out today. I truly am. We had a late one last night, but it was a good one. Im here for one reason and one reason only, just like you. Americahat ohio and need four more years of President Donald Trump in the white house. [applause] know, four years ago a movement was born. And movement of Everyday Americans from every walk of life. Here in ohio you knew we could be strong again. You knew we could be prosperous again. You said yes to President Donald Trump in 2016 and i know that ohio is going to say yes to four more years of President Donald Trump in 2020. [applause] and how about that debate last night . [applause] what, thel you president took to the stage and he took the fight straight to joe biden and he won that debate hands down. [applause] it was amazing. Looking at his watch and he was trying to figure out how soon are things going to be over. It really was amazing. The president said last night after 47 years of all talk and no action, other President Donald Trump it has been three to half years of promises made and promises kept. Am i right . Just think about it. Four years ago we inherited a military that was hollowed out by reckless budget cuts. An economy struggling to break out of the slowest recovery since the great depression. Terrorism was on the rise around the world and we saw assaults our most cherished values. In three short years we rebuilt our military, we revived our border, we secured our supported Law Enforcement, stood for life, liberty and the constitution of the United States. It all starts with our National Defense, doesnt it . The First Priority of the National Government is to provide for the common defense. After years of budget cuts that hollowed out our military when joe biden was Vice President , i am proud to report as your vice of adent and as the father captain in the United States that we are finally giving our shoulders sailors, soldiers, airmen and coast guard the resources they need to support this nation. President trump has signed since the days of ronald reagan. [applause] those is not just about who wear the uniform. It has been about supporting the men and women who served in our armed forces. Americas veterans. When joe biden was Vice President , you will remember in ohio we saw years of scandal at the v. A. That shocked the conscience of the nation. There were actually veterans in this country who were passing away waiting to receive care at the v. A. But other President Donald Trump , those days are over. [applause] has signed the most sweeping reforms to the v. A. In 50 years. We fired thousands of v. A. Employees that were not getting our veterans the care that they earned and veterans choice is now available to every veteran in america. [applause] fact, before i go on further i figure there are some men and women among us that stepped forward to serve our country in uniform. Would you mind putting your hand in the air and having the opportunity to say thank you one more time . Thank you for your service. Thank you for your service. It has been about our National Defense and standing with our veterans. In our first three years after joe biden and the last administration tried to tax and spend and regulate us back to a growing economy, President Trump created the greatest economy in American History. [applause] it is amazing to think in the midst of a Global Pandemic joe by 4wants to raise taxes trillion. Cutident trump, we taxes across the board. We rode back more federal red tape than any administration in history. We fought for free and fair trade. We unlace American Energy and in three short years businesses large and small created 7 million good paying jobs including 82,000 jobs right here in the state of ohio. [applause] it is amazing. 50 yearment red state low across america unemployment reached a 50 year low. Household income grew nearly four times as much in our first all 8years as it did in years of the obama biden administration. And wages rose at the fastest pace in 10 years but they rose most rapidly from hardworking bluecollar americans, the forgotten men and women of america were forgotten no more. [applause] u. S. A. ]g he has been putting the interest of hardworking americans and American Families first. He has been putting America First when it comes to International Trade. It is so important in ohio and across the heartland. When we took office, half of our International Trade definite deficit was with china. We were losing 500 billion a year in our trading relationship with china. Has been aen cheerleader for communist china all along the way. He actually said the rise of china was a positive development and he scoffed last year at the idea that china was even a competitor with the United States. But other President Donald Trump , we put china on notice. We said the error of economic surrender is over. Andmposed tariffs on china we are going to keep standing strong until they open up their markets to what we make and what we grow. [applause] i dont have to tell people across the heartland what nafta meant to communities across ohio. In the Hoosier State we saw entire communities shuttered when factories closed after nafta and moved those jobs south of the border to mexico. Democrats for decades used to complain about nafta and talk about how bad it was. But their party and joe biden never lifted a finger to fix what was broken about nafta but the man who wrote the art of the deal got working americans a better deal. Nafta is gone and the usmca is here to stay and it is a huge win for ohio in ohio workers. Energy, joecomes to biden and the radical left want to crush American Energy under a 2 trillion Green New Deal that would literally raise the cost of electricity for every home at every business in this state. And worse still, joe biden and Kamala Harris want to abolish fracking. Ls and ban if anybody doubted it, last night at the debate at the tail end, did you see it . Industry said the oil pollutes and has to be replaced. It was what the president calls a big statement. I have to tell you, the truth of the matter is americas strength comes in part from our vast Natural Resources and other President Donald Trump, we are going to continue to develop all of the resources of this land and drive a boundless american future. [applause] you all deserve to know in ohio that joe biden and Kamala Harris want to end the fracking no matter what they are saying now. This statecking in alone, studies show ohio could lose up to 700,000 jobs. Has been donald trump a champion for American Energy. Coal. Ed the war on we developed the resources of this land. Today america is a net exporter of energy for the first time in 70 years. We have achieved Energy Independence and we are going to have more Energy Independence for four more years. And let me just say i know he slipped off to catch a plane but none of that would have been possible without the strong and principled leadership on the house energy and Commerce Committee of congressman bob. Would you join me in thanking him on being a champion of our prosperity and American Energy . When joe biden was Vice President and america actually lost 200,000 manufacturing jobs. The last president said those jobs were never coming back. True. Four years their friends on the east coast and west coast liked to refer to are part of the country as the rust belt. It sure had a lot of rust on it when they were in charge, didnt it . When president obama said those jobs were not coming back, member what he said . Remember what he said . He said what magic wand do you have. We did not need a magic wand. They said if you like your Health Insurance, you can keep it. That was not true. They said that Health Insurance premiums is going to go down were going to go down. When we came into office, Health Insurance premiums actually doubled under obamacare. To takebiden has a plan the socialized medicine concept medicareernie sanders for all bill and put it right in the middle of obamacare. He calls it a public option. You heard the president talking about it last night. You take Bernie Sanders socialist idea and put it right in the middle of obamacare, you are going to set america on an inevitable path to socialized medicine. In theght joe biden debate said that not one person lost their plan under obamacare but the truth is more than 6 million americans have their individual health plans canceled when obamacare took effect. Trump sident donald under President Donald Trump, got rid of the individual mandate under obamacare. We have been fighting to lower the cost of Health Insurance without growing the size of government. We have lowered the cost of perception drugs. We are going to make the best Healthcare System in the world even better still and more affordable for every american in america and america will never be a socialist country. The leading democrat, judiciary committee, said she was concerned about her religious conviction because she said dogma lives loudly within you. Elites have been criticizing judge barretts faith ever since. I have news for the democrats and friends in hollywood, that dogma lives loudly and me in me. [applause] in you. Andright to live and work worship according to the dictates of our faith lives loudly in the constitution of the United States of america. [applause] the senate has a vote. Done doingenate gets advising and consenting, judge Amy Coney Barrett will be justice Amy Coney Barrett on the Supreme Court of the u. S. Speaking of the Supreme Court, didnt come up in the debate last night but the people of ohio deserve to know, after 150 years with nine judges on the Supreme Court of this country, leading democrats in washington are talking about packing the court, adding seats, to appoint activist, liberal judges to advance their agenda from the judiciary. Joe biden said he would not answer the question, then he said he would answer it after judge barrett was confirmed, now he is saying he will answer after the election. Ball and hes a live will tell the American People whether he is going to pack the court long after election day. Come on man the American People deserve a straight answer, joe when youre running for the highest office in the land, you ought to be willing to tell the American People you are going to respect the highest court in the land. [applause] on. Here,w what is going on dont we . I was born in the morning but not yesterday morning. They are not answering the question. We know the answer. Joe biden will pack the court by adding seats, appointing leftist, activist judges if they win the election. We are not going to let it happen. Men and women, this will not stand. We will not tolerate violence against innocent civilians, property or Law Enforcement and those who do these things will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law [applause] is, joe biden would double down on policies that have led to violence in americas cities. When you start to pull back on support for the men and women who protect and serve, you only embolden those who would do harm to our families and communities. Joe biden explained it all by saying he thinks america is systemically racist and that Police Officers in this country in his words have implicit bias against minorities. When asked if he would support cutting funding for Law Enforcement, joe biden said absolutely. Harris recently praised the mayor of los angeles for cutting the budget of the lapd. Let me make you a promise. With four more years of President Donald Trump in the white house, we will back the blue. [applause] we will not defund the police, not now, not ever. [applause] you and i know, we do not have to choose between supporting Law Enforcement and supporting our africanamerican neighbors and friends and minorities and those who live in our major cities, toledo, or anywhere else. Both for the last 3. 5 years. We supported 4000 new Police Officers through the new program. When violence hit our cities, President Trump launched operation legend, named after a boy who was gunned down in his bed. We have arrested 3000 by the perpetrators in cities around the nation working with state and local authorities. At the same time, as President Trump described in the debate last night, we have the lowest unemployment ever recorded for africanamericans, the highest funding ever for historically black colleges and universities, 8000 opportunity zones for innercity communities around america, criminal justice reform, education of choice, we have supported the Africanamerican Community and all of our minorities at the same time we have supported Law Enforcement [applause] you, with four more years of President Donald Trump in the white house, we will have law and order in every city, in every state, in this nation, for every american of every race, creed and color so help us god. [applause] beyond all that, when it comes to what we cherish most, our liberties, when joe biden was Vice President , we saw a steady assault on the religious liberty of americans. Remember that . Hold the Little Sisters of the poor, a group of nuns that had taken vows of poverty, hauled them into federal court to force them to compromise their faith to live under standards and mandates of obamacare. Under President Trump, we restored the conscious rights of doctors, nurses, religious charities. President trump ended the assault on the Little Sisters of the poor and the Supreme Court made it permanent. [applause] President Trump will always stand for the freedom of religion for every american, of every faith [applause] finally, for me, maybe most bidenant of all, joe support abortion all the way to the moment of birth, calling for record increases in funding for abortion at home abroad, President Donald Trump reinstated the mexico city policy to prevent taxpayer dollars from being used to promote abortion and signed a bill allowing states to defund planned parenthood. We are just a matter of a few weeks away from having the first Coronavirus Vaccine in the world with tens of millions of doses for the American People [applause] that is what leadership looks like, ohio, and i promise you, we will keep making sure, as we continue to do our part, we will keep making sure our doctors and nurses and longterm care, nursing homes, Health Care Providers have all the supplies and testing they need. We will keep working to slow the spread, protect the vulnerable and save lives until that day comes when we put coronavirus in the past.
