Delta strain eight times less sensitive to vaccine antibodies

The study found that the Delta variant not only dominated vaccine-breakthrough infections with higher viral loads compared with non-Delta infections (Ct value of 16.5 versus 19), but also generated greater transmission among the fully vaccinated HCWs.
