ZEPHYRHILLS -- Governor DeSantis is bringing another pharmacy chain into the COVID-19 vaccine mix.
In Pasco County Wednesday morning, he announced that Walgreens will begin offering doses at two locations, 12028 Majestic Boulevard in Hudson and 6429 Gall Blvd. (US 301) in Zephyrhills. The pharmacies will be able to schedule 80 appointments a day on weekdays and 60 appointments a day on weekends.
The governor says it's becoming easier to sign up for vaccines at sites of several pharmacies including Walmart and WInn-Dixie, as the percentage of seniors with shots continues to increase. "If you've been having trouble (getting on line) and haven't gotten it, it's probably going to be a little easier now."
