Design Consultants Inc. merges with GM2 Associates Inc.

Design Consultants Inc., a Somerville-based civil engineering, transportation consulting and land surveying firm, merged its operations with GM2 Associates Inc. on Dec. 31, 2020.
GM2 is a consulting engineering firm, headquartered in Glastonbury, Connecticut, with offices in four New England states, New York and Florida.
“The joining of our companies provides our clients with full-service engineering and national expertise in highway, traffic, structures, rail, survey, energy and construction engineering, while maintaining a strong local Massachusetts presence,” says DCI’s president and CEO David Giangrande, who becomes GM2’s senior vice president in charge of the firm’s Massachusetts operations.
