paris and maine, also mountains of new hampshire and vermont, you will see some snow. it's a raw day elsewhere across new england and connecticut. down through new york city, temperatures climbing to about 50, maybe 40s most of the day. more rain for texas and oklahoma. this system does not want to let up. we'll be seeing drenching conditions from oklahoma city to austin, texas, and certainly into dallas and more rain back out towards new mexico. mountain snow there as well. further to the north we'll be watching for that today. overall, more rain for texas. our forecast model shows that even though it's been raining for days, more is expected. watch out for flooding if you're traveling particularly in central texas. high temperatures today are pretty mild across the board. very warm across much of florida in the 80s and then cool as i mentioned into the northeast. you see where that cold front is, dropping down to about 60. one of the other things we are watching is the ash cloud across much of europe. coming up a little later, i'll talk about the wind direction and how it's going to change. it's not going to dissipate, but
