FOREMOST Artiste Manager and former Chairperson of the Lagos State Chapter of the National Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners (NANTAP), Eki Faith Eboigbe, is set to lead her Entertainment Bus-Stop Limited, (EBS) to join in the rest of the world to celebrate the International Day of Families on Saturday, May 15, 2021 with an event dubbed Family Meeting.
This year’s International Day of Families is themed: ‘Confronting Family Poverty and Security Concerns – Families Responsibilities and Challenges’ and Eki disclosed that the annual commemoration of the International Day of Families was proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in 1993.
According to the distinguished theatre artiste, “The family unit is the bedrock for sustainable development, it is essential for every society to create a supportive environment where family members realize their potential to contribute to achieve world peace. So, this year, we mark the International Day of Families in Nigeria, Lagos State by creating a platform for continuous conversations, which we hope will proffers sustainable solutions to issues germane to the sanctity of the Family wellbeing.”
