Exclusive: NATO's door open to Ukraine, but war stands in way, says US envoy

In an exclusive interview with India Today, US Ambassador to NATO Julianne Smith said the door for Ukraine to join the alliance "was wide open", but the ongoing war in the country was an obstacle to Kyiv's invitation to join the bloc.
