Shutdown. Republicans are still struggling for support at this hour, putting the blame on democrats, reminding voters despite controlling executive and both houses of Congress Republicans still need a dozen Senate Democrats to vote with them on a budget. Despite the president sitting down with senator minority leader Chuck Schumer at the white house this afternoon to discuss a possible deal, omb director Mick Mulvaney already putting a senate loss on the democrats, referring to upcoming schumer shutdown. Were following all of the twists and turns. Lets to to capitol hill where adam shapiro is standing by with the very latest details. Adam, where do things stand right now . Reporter right now there is no agreement. Chuck schumer did meet with the president. Nothing came out of the meeting that would lead anyone on capitol hill to believe the senate will avert the shutdown. When you talk to the people on the house side, different rumors another kind of cr, a shorter cr, the response from the republicans over in the house is, the cr we passed last night is the deal that is on the table. So i want you to listen to what Chuck Schumer said when he going into a meeting with nancy pelosi about his meeting with President Trump. We had a long and detailed meeting. We discussed all of the major outstanding issues. We made some progress but we still have a good number of disagreements. The discussions will continue. Reporter the clock is ticking towards the shutdown roughly midnight tonight. This is what orrin hatch had to say about some of his colleagues talking on the floor of the senate. This is great country in the world but we do have some really stupid people representing it from time to time. Reporter senator hatch did not say specifically who those stupid people representing were, but i will let you decide who that might be. Bottom line, no agreement as of this moment. Back to you, david. David love that orrin hatch. Adam, thank you very much. Melissa. Melissa my lord, here comes steve forbes, forbes media chairman, doug schoen, former advisor to president bill clinton. He is also a fox news contributor. Steve, what do you think will happen here . They may well have a shutdown and melissa you were going to say schumer shut down, werent you . Schumer shutdown. Orrin hatch is retiring. Or else he would not have made the comments about his colleagues he has to work. Amazing they cant even get this government agreement to go four more weeks. Markets say, hey, Government Shutdown, big deal. The republic will survive and thrive. Melissa it is interesting. Theyre banking on people caring about a shutdown, doug. A lot of people out there hate government right now. I understand that the very hard part will be people working without a paycheck but they will get paid when the government reopens, when that happens. What do you think . Well, i think despite what the republicans are saying given that they control the executive and both houses of congress, if there is blame to go at it will go to the republicans. What adam shapiro didnt mention that three republicans, i think they are the socalled, stupid people he was referring to, are not behind the deal. In any event, they need at least 10 to 12 democrats to bet this done. I think it will be a shutdown, i agree with steve, but i think it is going to be brief because i think both parties feel it is not in their interests to keep the government closed. Melissa yeah. We have a weekend before the market the open again. So my guess is that this will get resolved, you know, over the weekend or monday, tuesday at latest. Melissa steve, they made a good point that the republicans made a good point there is nothing in the bill that democrats object to. It is just that they want to add on something about the dreamers that doesnt exist in the legislative form they could add it on any way. That is pretty strong argument. It is and right now, however, the regular media will not give much credence to it, or much emphasis to it. Theyre trying to score points. They could have had a daca deal a week ago and decided to go on what the president allegedly said in the meeting to hit him instead of going on a daca deal. Theyre playing politics to the hilt. Republicans have to get their voices backs, use social media. Use fox more. Melissa use what democrats said last time around. Roll the tape. Think about what we could do if a reckless few didnt hold the economy hostage every few months. Nobody wins when washington is dysfunctional and one party holds the whole process hostage to demands that are unreasonable. Why should the government and American People be held hostage . The republicans are trying to take the government and economy hostage. Melissa there you go, doug. What do you think . Pretty good rhetoric. Melissa shoe is on the other foot. No. The rhetoric is pretty good because the republicans are the ones holding the government hostage, again you didnt mention, melissa, there was a bipartisan daca deal in the senate melissa no, no. Yeah, yeah. Melissa it was the other way around. It was the exact same situation where the democrats were talking about what exists now. Melissa they were mad, republicans were mad about not having won the last election and so they had to go ahead and shut down the government. Now, shoe is on the other foot. I dont see it that way. I dont think the American People see it that way, melissa, based on polls that have come out in the last couple weeks. Melissa we all believe a lot in polls. We do. That is my profession. Melissa im sorry. Im sorry you question waive done for 40 years. Melissa doug, i apologize. I take it back. I appreciate it. No offense taken. Melissa see you both later in the show. Thank you. David markets really not caring much at all about all the beltway panicking, the dow ending day up almost 60 points. Look at that the s p and nasdaq, new record close. Lets go to Nicole Petallides she is on the floor of the new york stock exchange. Nicole what do traders say . Clearly theyre not much worried about a Government Shutdown, right . Yeah,. 2 . A lot of worries. And to the upside. So we have had some back and forth action today. Theyre to the worried about a government shut down, not at this time. They were focused more on earnings. Ibm, American Express great on the dow in early going. The dow gained, and nasdaq and s p had record closes. The russell 2000, the small caps, also at record closes. In fact the dow, the nasdaq, s p, have had three straight weeks of gains. Take a look though at some of the best and worst of this week. The weekly winners, united health, merck, nike. Nike got a lot of positive comments from analysts, bernstein, wedbush, theyre doing well selling products on amazon. This back half was general electric. We had the dismal story of general electric. Even a possible breakup. American express and disney, those names came under pressure this week. David. David without American Express and ibm, we would have had a record close on the dow as well. Nicole, thank you very much. Tomorrow, by the way, marks one year in this presidency. It has been a banner year for the markets under President Trump. All three indices with doubledigit gains. Here to hash out why, whether the good times will continue entrepreneur and former investment banker carol roth, and barrons Senior Editor jack hough. Good to see you both. Carol, lets go back to history, we have four record presidencies where the first year of their presidency had records. The first one surprisingly president roosevelt back during the midst of the depression. His first year there was 96point gain. Trump with 3. 31 . Put it up on the screen. Truman and obama. For roosevelt and obama the reason why they had such record highs because they were coming out of either a Great Depression or a great recession, however you want to call it whereas President Trump was coming off of eight years of a recovery. That is what makes the trump rally so impressive, no . Absolutely. I mean the fact that we are this late in the cycle and see, still seeing such a great Growth Opportunity in front of us is really what makes this so special. When you think about the fact that we have growth but still low inflation, still low interest rates, and the Global Economy growing, when you put all of that together on top of what happened with the tax cuts and repatriation, it certainly seems to me that we have a recipe to continue this growth forward. David right. I would like to see some volatility. For those of you dont know what that is, that is something that used to happen in the markets all the time. We like to see that i would like to see it so i dont feel this is like a crazy market. Reality, over the next 12 to 18 months, even if you see increases from the fed were not at those levels where it should affect what is going on in the stock market. David jack, the bottom line, going back into history, easy to build off a bottom like roosevelt and obama did, but build off of a eightyear recovery, 30 , that is really impressive, no . I will give you 3 4. Youre using dow instead of s p 500. On s p obama had better first year than trump. That is why i have to take a quarter off. People not fans of this president have to be impressed by this market and this economy. Yesterday Goldman Sachs added walmart to the conviction buy list. Totally a macrocall. If youre bullish on walmart, it means youre bullish on the middle income shopper. That is a very good sign right now. David and carol, we havent seen the full effects of these tax cuts. We have all kind of companies increasing bonuses, minimum wages, et cetera. We havent seen the effects of all capital coming back to the United States. We know that apple has plans to bring back 350 billion over the long haul from overseas. That is going to happen to other companies as well. Once those things kick in, we might see another leg to this rally, no . Absolutely. And i think that for those who dont want to give direct credit to President Trump for this, you have to at least give indirect credit. David absolutely. If you had a different president in there you would not have the tax cuts, you wouldnt have this repatriation. Youre right, david, when these companies have this capital available, i think youre going to see more m a. You will see wages continue to increase. I will see more capital deployed and more cash back in everybodys pockets to put back into the economy. While some people like to poopoo that, weve seen effects of it. It is clearly working. Certainly there is more ahead. Always scares me when i have nothing to say but really very optimistic time for the economy right now. David jack, im hearing in the echoes of my mind the comments of paul krugman of course who on election day said the markets were going to go down and would never recover but im also remembering, wasnt too long ago, people said if you have a tax holiday to try to bring back the capital from overseas, Companies Wont do it. They wont utilize it. We wont see any effects in the economy. To their credit we havent yet seen all the money coming back put we hear of plans from tim cook and apple and others they will bring it back. Looks like the tax holiday will work, no . I actually think so. I think the corporate side of the thing is pretty clever arrangement. I have a few complaints about the individual side. David me too. On the corporate side, companies have no incentive any longer to keep this money overseas. Theyre bringing money back. Im seeing a little bit of competition, mostly mouth thinkness i hope it goes through the data, were giving races one up each other. I would like to see walmart give wage up two bucks, on par with target and little behind costco. If they compete to keep workers wages high that is a really good sign. David carol, bottom line, i agree with jack there could be more on the individual side. Bring down the top rate a little bit more. There is room for another tax cut, isnt there . If this next year is successful, we see a big boom in the economy, even more than we did in 2017, maybe we will have tax cuts part two . I am voting for you. I approve this message. I certainly think there is more that can be done, certainly on the Small Business side and the individual side. David yeah. Like weve been alluding to, there are more than 100 Different Companies who already have said, hey were doing this, when you get the wage pressure and tight labor market on top of that, i think well continue to see that. Hopefully congress will be smart enough to say, it has been working. Lets push it further, put capital back into the hand of the people. David i hope we dont have to depend on smarts inside of the beltway. Other than that fair enough. Fair enough. David carol roth, jack hough have a great weekend. Melissa china caught redhanded. Republican leaders make a lastditch effort to avert a partial Government Shutdown as a clock ticks on the budget deal that is hours away. Here with where things stand, senator Chuck Grassley, Senate Budget committee member. What is the latest . What can you tell us . Any movement, any talks . Latest i had was about the time the senator schumer was leaving the white house, so the last group of senators i was with, i have not had a report but hopefully coming out of that meeting, because the democrats support everything in the bill that the house passed, that we would move on, get it passed, not shut down government, give an opportunity between now and february 16th to work out several things, still some budget disagreements, that can be worked out. And then also for the daca kids, to get that job done. But for democrats to use the excuse of daca to not vote for this bill, even if they had, even if we agreed it do that, we dont have legislative language to do that. Besides march the 5th is the deadline for daca. Melissa so we have heard that talking point, you know that there is no legislation to tack on at this point. So if that is the case, whats Chuck Schumer doing over at the white house . What do you think he could possibly squeeze out of the president if there isnt legislation that is ready to tack on tonight . What kind of promise do you imagine coming out of that . I dont think the president can move one inch from where he was a week ago tuesday when there was a bipartisan, Bicameral Group of 23 members of congress down there with the president leading the discussion and about 50 different issues dealing with daca and immigration came up. We decided to bring it down to four issues, daca, border security, chain migration, and diversity visas, and within those four is what the president has to have for a compromise, and there is, and it is possible to get a bipartisan compromise within that. That is the president made it very clear. That is where he is. He isnt going to give up on anything just because he met with schumer. Melissa so, were just hearing now from fox news sources that, this is john roberts, sorry, john roberts saying that Chuck Schumer gave the president a list of demands that went beyond daca. What do you think about that . David oh, boy. Well i, first of all, senator schumer is a very smart politician. He is going to use every tool he can negotiating. Probably an opportunity to educate the president about some things where he stands on them. But if the democrats agree to everything that is in this bill, you say its a talking point, but yes, let me repeat it, they agreed to it. Forget about daca. We have march this to work on that. Melissa no, i didnt mean talking point as an insult. I mean republicans are unified on message. We have heard so far today they like everything in the bill. What theyre trying to do is tack on something unrelated, that by the way isnt even written, so it would be very difficult to tack it on. No. Melissa david and i watched live that meeting that you guys had where everybody seemed to be agreeing, making ground, we heard the four points that you mentioned, seemed everybody in the room would be negotiated. It was on tape. No one can deny what happened in that meeting, nonetheless everything fell apart after that. Why . Two senators, one republican, one democrat feel they can reach an agreement the other 98 senators will buy. They went down to the white house t wasnt within those four points of what president had agreed to on tuesday, and you cant, you cant object to the president rejecting that. Melissa no. Besides, everything that was negative coming out of that meeting, when you have a private meeting with another senator or with the president of the United States, it is okay to say what you said but you shouldnt be reporting what other people say. Melissa yeah. I mean are you mad at the republican who was in there doing an endrun around you guys . One thing for the democrat to go around and head off to the president with something saying everybody agrees on this, it is not really true but what about Lindsey Graham . Im, whether it is republican or democrat, you should abide by the principle that when you have a private discussion, you shouldnt tell other people about it. Melissa no, i meant about the bill, when they got together and said this represents what everybody wants, took it to the president , really that wasnt the case because it was like 24 hours before everyone figured out that that is what caused all the anger that happened in that meeting . Well, two people cant negotiate for 98 other senators. Melissa right. I think it boils down to that. Melissa okay. Sir, thank you. You might have a long night ahead of you, so i will let you go. You should eat some carbs, fuel up. Get some coffee. I hope youre wearing comfortable shoes. Im sure you are very familiar with this. Very much so. Melissa thank you, sir. Have a good evening. David he is a great guy. By the way it was clear talking about Lindsey Graham and senator durbin coming to a deal. Melissa right. David two guys cant make a deal for everybody else. Is this happening in america or is this the kgb . That is how alarming it is. David top gop lawmakers expressing outrage about a fourpage memo circulating in congress allegedly revealing the u. S. Governments abuse of the foreign Intelligence Surveillance act, fisa, during the last Election Campaign and immediately after. Here someone who actually read the memo, ohio congressman, and member of the house intel committee, Brad Wenstrup. Congressman, im used to hearing hype from inside the beltway but this seems over the top. You have read the memo. Is it over the top, that kind of hype . Well, i know that our fellow members have significant concerns, as i do, as a member of the Intelligence Committee, understanding that that we have professional obligation having oversight of our government. This government is by the people, and for the people. There is a process taking place and weve been conducting investigations and there is some information we felt on the Intelligence Committee should be shared with our colleagues. The other dulyelected representatives here in congress. David what about us . We have not representatives if one is akin to what the kgb was doing, as we heard one of the congressman said, dont we have a right to see it . Yes, i think you do. I was a young man during watergate. I remember coming away with during that time as a teenager, we were a country if there was wrongdoing, everyone wanted to know the truth and make sure is it was right the pest way we can. David what specifically about what was in it or who wrote it . I cant tell you about that. I hope we get to the point where i can that is the next step in the process. David you agree with me, that we have a right to know what is in the memo. Can you tell us whether it dealt with the last election and whether or not efforts were made by the federal government to abuse power in that last election . I wont talk about what is in it at this point . I sorry to disappoint you in that. I will tell you that the concerns of my other colleagues are very sincere. And in that, as members of congress we are to have oversight. We should have oversight on behalf of the American People. The ownly thing i want to make sure of, by we go forward to release it to the American People, we have professional conversation as were supposed to and make sure nothing in there threatens our david i hope you have that conversation really soon. I do too. David we are wondering whether we should be concerned as some members, congressman steve king, he is a pretty sober guy. This is what he tweeted out. The sickening reality set in. I no longer hold out hope there is an innocent explanation for the information the public has seen. I have long said it is worse than watergate. He is going over the top, or do you agree with steve king . Mr. King is on the committee with me, and we share the same sentiments. David wow. In some ways i think we are, use abraham lincolns line, were testing whether this nation or any notion so conceived can long endure, if we dont correct our wrongs if we the people dont have oversight and people dont have oversight with us as members of congress, that is a problem. Keep plugging away. I think transparency, how will we ever develop trust if we cant be frank with the American People. So, i hope that is where we end up at the end of the day. But i want to do it right. I want to do it openly and honestly. David if it is that important we need to see it as quickly as possible. Congressman, thank you very much for coming in. Have a good weekend. Thank you. Melissa did nothing to make me less worried what is in there. David a lot of congressman saying that. Melissa time is running out. David President Trump looking ahead to 2018 after signing historic tax reform bill into law. Hasnt been down in 34 years but hasnt been done because we broke every record. We essentially repealed obamacare because we got rid of the individual mandate. We will face challenges, we will confront hardships but we will get the job done. David one year of really extraordinary accomplishments. Steve and doug are back to react to the president s first year in office which technically is tomorrow. Steve start with business and economics because the contrast with the previous president , obama, and this president , is dramatic. You have one case, President Trump a businessman, who recognizes what does harm to business and growth in the economy. On the other hand, you have eight years of an academic who is either openly hostile, or at least sort of, not really, views with suspicion what businesses do. That is where we begin. Youre too polite about president obama. He had disdain, disliked commerce. It was beneath him. He didnt think he had to do anything to succeed with it. It reflected every day they did something that hurt business. By contrast, this deregulation, that doesnt get headlines, that is nittygritty stuff. David getting rid of 22 regulations for every new regulation you had. I dont think reagan had accomplishment of that . This is the first president on stained level tried to do something about it. Regulations are a form of taxation. Yes, the tax cut was signed at the end of the year but the real taxcutting began with the deregulatory measures. You saw it with business confidence, what keynes called animal spirits. People started to move up. They thought he was on their side. David doug, you strike me as lonely democrat. You are a free market guy. I am. David you are suspicious of excessive government regulations. Were you worried the way the economy was going under president obama . Yeah, i was. Growth was well under 3 . We had very little prospect of the kind of growth we are now apparently seeing. I am one who is free market and also for a social safety net. And i am worried under President Trump that the absence of bipartisanship means that were not going to have the security for those who are the least fortunate that we traditionally have. David but are you also worried about the state of the Democratic Party and it is inability it seems to get behind the free market . I am worried about both parties, david. Im worried that the democrats are moving in the direction of redistribution and the republicans based on what weve seen this week, are so internally divided they cant get behind anything at anytime. David steve, does it concern you, that republicans cant seem to find in the Democratic Party the kind of more moderate democrat like doug schoen . Well, were at a point where if a democrat does anything that looks he or she is helping donald trump, that person knows they are being primaried. They are fearful of the sanders wing of party. That they will have a nasty primary. Theyre not worried about the general elections. Theyre worried about keeping nominations. David that is great point, doug, democrats began to say things for example, about the tax plan, that were ridiculous. That it did nothing at all for middleclass americans. That it was the worst bill in history quoting nancy pelosi. Were seeing positive effects of the tax plan. They are then focusing just on the character of donald trump. As a way to win the midterm elections. Will they succeed . I think they will. Largely because the divisiveness of the trump government will, to use a bad pun, trump the very real accomplishments. Our politics is sort of like roller derby or professional wrestling now. The very real accomplishments you speak of, i think get lost because the president rhetorically and substantively governing as the president of red america, not the United States. David but steve, you have to say the president said, it is the economy stupid, to use a line from the clinton administration. Will the economy, the accomplishments rejoin to the people in america, the incredible accomplishments of deregulation and tax policy trump any kind of concern with trumps character itself . That is going to be very difficult. You saw, go back to 1968, the u. S. Economy was booming. But because people were worried about the vietnam war, they didnt like lyndon johnson, turning against the democrats starting in 1966. You see periods where you have a good economy. Incumbent party wasnt able to take advantage of it because other issues intruded. That is why they have to have the discipline, starting with the white house where substance is allowed to trump style. David gentlemen, good to see you both. Reasonable discussion. Appreciate it, doug and steve. Melissa. Thank you. Melissa caught redhanded, chineseowned and operated ships caught violating sanctions against north korea. What does it mean for our relationship with china . Caught redhanded. U. S. Satellite photos show car go ships linked to china taking coal from north korea to russia and vietnam, violating u. N. Sanctions. This news comes as the u. S. Continues maximum pressure against the rogue regime. Here now to react is john bolton, former u. S. Ambassador to the u. N. And a fox news contributor. I mean, i, as somebody who knows all of these players well, are you surprised by this . Absolutely not. You know, you think of the line from the movie casablanca, where inspector renault says im shocked, shocked to learn there is gambling going on in casino. The buy comes up and hands him his winnings. The chinese have been doing this 25 years, but what is different this time we caught them with overhead photography from satellites. There were weeks ago similar pictures. At that time chinese ships offloading oil to north korean ships. They do this over and over. They placate us. Were so tired of north korea. Were going to crack down on the Ballistic Missile tests. They will cracks down on the nuclear program. They wait for us to turn our attention away and right back to business as usual. Melissa how should the president respond to this . Take the pictures, wander over, like, what the heck is this . They can see them in the newspapers. I wouldnt show him the actual pictures because they might be taking overhead of the pictures and might learn something how we got them. Just a day or two ago the president also said that he knew that russia was cheating on the sanctions as well. And this is the reality for sanctions. Frankly for close to 20 years we pursued a policy saying weve just imposed sanctions on country x, and acted as if it meant something when by and large it had far last impact than should have been the case. Sanctions will not stop the north Korean Nuclear weapons program. Sanctions have been applied by the United States since the 1950s. It is one of the poorest countries in the world. They still tested therm know mike thermoNuclear Weapons. They will not give up the program and time to face that unpleasant reality. Melissa that doesnt leave many options except for military options. Unless the chinese do something dramatic, they show no evidence they are willing to do that, you either leave north korea with Nuclear Weapons which the president said is unacceptable. Melissa yeah. Or you consider military force. Nobody is saying that is a great option. How would you like the United States to be threatened by north Korean Nuclear weapons as far as the eye can see . Melissa john bolton, absolutely. Thank you, sir. Appreciate your time as always. Glad to be with you. David not a lot of good options. Melissa no. David same is true about the Government Shutdown. David senator minority whip dick durbin speaking offcamara, Democratic Leaders could be open to temporary spending bill, if it was shorter than two weeks, two weeks. Indiana senator joe donnelly will indeed note in favor of keeping the government open saying this is the most basic duty of congress, keeping the government operating. Here is fox news correspondent peter doocy. Peter i have to focus on one thing first of all, making our audience furious. Im getting emails from dozens of people about this the fact that military personnel lose their paycheck but not so with the people who work for the government, in particular the lawmakers themselves, they keep getting their paycheck, right . They do because the constitution says they cant be furloughed. Even those these lawmakers, both sides, democrats and republicans are at an impasse and they could potentially shut down, if that happens, they will be paid, the shutdown could go on forever. They still fet get their paycheck. David talk about the impasse on immigration. We saw the open meeting on tuesday, so reasonable, everybody was talking with each other. The president kept cameras in for an hour. We had thursday, everything changed. Republicans say it was the democrats fault. Democrats say it was republicans fault. Im we had senator grassley on earlier, that Lindsey Graham and senator durbin got together with their own idea how to have new immigration bill, what scuttled everything and made the president at least angry at the meeting. Are you hearing anything about that . Reporter that is consistent what im hearing, because the grahamdurbin proposal they presented to the president didnt have nearly enough money for border wall. David im also told, forgive me for interrupting, said we would delay getting rid of chain migration, which adds to the dreamers if they bring 10 or 20 people adds huge number of immigrants into the country. Reporter the problem is we saw the meeting where they added it at the broad bipartisan consensus. Two lawmakers off to the side, it just blew the whole process up. But now, there are only go democrats who say that they will support the continuing resolution as it is. There is joe manchin and then we just found out a few minutes ago, a vulnerable red state democrat, joe donnelly from indiana. Everybody else is insisting that daca vote, some sort of a daca protection, protection for Daca Recipients has to be included by midnight, or else they will vote no. That is big math problem. David when we get a Government Shutdown, were told by mick mull rain any. This will not be different. They will not weaponize the government shut down. They know how to deal with money much better than the obama people did. They dont want it to hurt americans as much. We will see what happens. See you very much. As melissa said earlier, i hope you got sleep in beforehand. Its a long night. Melissa seriously, nearly seven hours left, last minute negotiations to keep our government open next. I even accept i have a higher risk of stroke due to afib, a type of irregular heartbeat not caused by a heart valve problem. But whatever trail i take, i go for my best. So if theres Something Better than warfarin, ill go for that too. Eliquis. Eliquis reduced the risk of stroke better than warfarin, plus had less major bleeding than warfarin. Eliquis had both. Dont stop taking eliquis unless your doctor tells you to, as stopping increases your risk of having a stroke. Eliquis can cause serious and in rare cases fatal bleeding. Dont take eliquis if you have an artificial heart valve or abnormal bleeding. While taking eliquis, you may bruise more easily. And it may take longer than usual for any bleeding to stop. Seek immediate medical care for sudden signs of bleeding, like unusual bruising. Eliquis may increase your bleeding risk if you take certain medicines. Tell your doctor about all planned medical or dental procedures. Im still going for my best. And for eliquis ask your doctor about eliquis. Well, itsonce again. Eason yeah. David so lets think of the worst case scenario, if there is a Government Shutdown, think of the Economic Team that Trump Company had. Theyve got Mick Mulvaney who we love because of his man management, gary cohen, steve mnuchin, the boss himself, these are Money Managers and they know how to deal with money and move it around. Melissa we dont want working men and women out there that would have to work anyway to not receive their paycheck thats not fair. On the other hand they could show you how much Less Government we potentially need. No one would cry if the irs were closed for a few days am i right david well see you tomorrow with neil cavuto on fox news. Melissa here is risk reward. We had a long and detailed meeting. We discussed all of the major outstanding issues. We made some progress and we still have a good number of discussions to continue. Liz no deal there. We are less than five hours from a potential Government Shutdown, both sides are now blaming each other even before it happened. It all hangs on the senate and the Senate Democrats. Market averages still closed in the green. Democrats blaming republicans, republicans like paul ryan blame the Senate Democrats, and the battle of it the meeting you just saw Chuck Schumer speaking after it, he was met with
