Joining the conversation, Wealth Management president rebecca wasser, job or valley and fox business Cheryl Casone. Mornings with maria is live right now. The war in israel entering an 18th day, hamas released to elderly hamas hostages but the husbands are in the custody of hamas, what are the freed hostages saying she was taken into tunnels inside of god said that look like spiderwebs. Her daughter gibby did update earlier this morning. 25 hostages and three hours and taken into a separate room. My mom kept saying they were very friendly to her and they took care of them. Maria this coming as a leader of hamas said he will release hostages if israel stops attacking them. President biden telling reporters that the u. S. Does not support a ceasefire until everyone is released before cutting his remarks short report of situation room meeting. Is the u. S. Supporting hostages to ceasefire deal. We should have the hostages release and then we can talk about it. I apologize i have to go to the situation room, thank you, thank you, thank you. Maria Cheryl Casone i dont know why President Biden is doing an event on bidenomics anyway in the middle of all of this, what was that about. It seems a bit tone deaf to your point, but the president i think its interesting he saying the word we, israel is going to do whats best for israel this is Benjamin Netanyahu, not President Bidens decision. I certainly appreciate that he is putting the full support behind israel and giving the tools that they need financial tools as well as military tools, thats what john kirby said we will give them the tools that they need. For the president to make it sound like we will talk i am not so sure there is a wii and all of this i think israel is defended itself and they have every right to do so to defend their land into right the wrongs that were done against them. Maria rebecca your thoughts . I am struck with have any protest that are happening in america that are so propalestinian prohamas and antiisrael i dont know when this happened but i see a shift probably since Obama Administration happened and its definitely different to see israel going to war and having america divided on their support for the country. Maria joe borelli President Trump slamming President Bidens handling of the war calling the address to the nation a grotesque betrayal of israel, watch this. This guy is in charge of the most dangerous time in our history he is in charge of it on the weaponry is so massive and powerful that this wont be world war ii or world war i with army tanks running around shooting at each other, world war iii will be in obliteration Something Like nobodys ever seen before we have a man that is not capable. It was joe biden with his weakness and what he did with iran and others that cause the attack on israel, they never wouldve attacked. Maria part of the issue is the appeasement that the submitted station has been giving iran. I think thats with the former president was referring to, appeasement in terms of lowering the sanctions, enabling iran to generate all the billions of oil revenue. All the bluster in showmanship of trumps speech which that had he said something very poignant is that if you do not stand up or sanctions against iran you are not supporting israel. That was a major biden a administration shift from the Trump Administration policy. I dont think any arbiter of truth whether msnbc or however, can objectively look at whats happening in the mid east under joe biden and say things are better now that we abandon Trump Administration policy. Things are far worse were at the brink of war and to have joe biden come out and say there should be no ceasefire in gaza until we have hostages back is the wrong answer, the right answer would be until hamas is eradicated, at that point only when israel can live it estate of secure peace. Maria we are going to get into a lot more coming up this morning. We are just getting started, General Electric is raising its guidance, the stock is up better than 2 that is what the powers for the dow industrial, we will take a look at that, hostages in the middle east remain the focal point as pressure mounting on all sides to bring those people home. We have the very latest, then the house voting to nominate another candidate for the vacant speakership role, what you need to know about the eight people buying for the role coming up. Com maria welcome back, the war on israel entering day 18. Hamas released two more hostages as negotiations for more releases are underway, the wall street journal is reporting u. S. Officials are recommending israel not rush into a nondefensive. Before washington has the chance to get military assets in place and prepared to use in the event of an expansion of the israeli hamas war, joy to meet fox news senior strategic analyst and chairman of the institute for the study of war general jack keane back with us. Great to see you, thank you very much for being here. I want to get your take where we stand with regard to the United States readiness. I was quite concerned when i read the piece in the wall street journal this morning that the u. S. Is trying to get israel to slow down and not rush into a nondefensive and tell the u. S. Can get his assets in place. What does that tell you general. If that is accurate, and we dont know if it is, it is likely that the United States has some intelligence that iran is going to expand the war by releasing hezbollah to attack israel, not the limited attacks taking place right now. Those attacks are going on in the northern border with israel and lebanon that is designed to force the israelis to commit forces to that area as opposed to gaza. The attack that we are talking about they have over 130,000 rockets and missiles most of them considerably more lethal and more precision than what hamas and Palestinian Islamic jihad has in gaza. That is really the issue. If they are doing that, i suspect they have good intelligence. I think when we assess whether iran will do this or not, a lot depends on the israeli operation in gaza whether they order has blood to do this, the last time the israelis and hezbollah tangled with each other was back in 2006 and it did not work out so well for the israelis after 46 days they left the area, that was a ground assault that took place there. It resulted in firing all of the Service Chiefs by the Prime Minister at the time. But i think, emphasizing again, i think the u. S. Has intelligence here and thats driving the positioning of the assets. They stated they were positioning the assets to deter iran from going into the conflict and expanded it. I think that is the true measure to take. We will see where we are going. Go ahead, maria. Maria what i was concerned about, general, tell me what do you think about this. The idea that the u. S. Is not ready. I remember a comment President Biden made a while ago saying we were running out of ammunition, this is what was concerning me. The fact that the u. S. Is not ready in the case of an expanded war should the u. S. Be forced to get involved in a bigger way. Do you believe the u. S. Is ready . What kind of readiness do you see here. We talked about this a number of times ensuring that the military and the readiness is up to par and the comment in the journal saint washington wants the chance to get the military assets in place and prepared for use in the event of an expansion of a conflict. That raised my red flag saying the u. S. Is having issues with ammunition or readiness, thats what i was getting at. That is not the interpretation i would make of it, we are a global power and we can inject power but we dont have it sitting in every location that we may have a potential conflict. We have to move resources to that area, no other country can move the resources that we have. You see two major Aircraft Carrier groups moving into the area, fire squads moving into, air Defense Systems doing the same. No other country can do that on the scale that theyre doing it. Were not sitting there with any conflict that could potentially occur and have all of our forces ready to go. The fact that we could get them there in a matter of days, we are the only power in the world i do that. Maria let me get your take on the letter that james palmer and congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene Center opening approach to the Defense Department policy to ensure that military aid and weapons do not fall into the hands of terrorist groups. This letter sent to defense secretary lloyd austin yesterday the committee has seen reports that weapons are being redistributed and resold the secondary markets to terrorist organizations including hamas. General, we question what hamas has gotten its firepower before. I know partly they have gone ammunition and firepower from north korea, perhaps china, what you make of commerce questions of whether or not they have gotten usmade weapons. If they do its only worth taking a look at. U. S. Weapons are very popular around the world and the fact that they can be repurposed by others is not too surprising in my view. Certainly what we left afghanistan and we gave lots of weapons to the Afghan Security forces and they had our trucks and helicopters, they were using them and they had many of our weapons, it would not surprise me if some were repurposed as well. Is it worth taking a look at and finding out what happened, yes. But american weapons are very popular obviously and they get repurposed and is not too surprising that it does. I think we should find what the sources are and if its something that we need to do to block it, certainly we should. Maria the letter says Israel Defense forces commander echoed concerns stating that palestinian groups and the gaza strip possessed u. S. Weapons, seized by the taliban during the u. S. Withdrawal from afgha afghanistan. All of those weapons that were left on the ground obviously may very well, the taliban may have gotten those and thats why hamas is so wellequipped here partly. So you understand, the United States left afghanistan in the military, we took everything that we wanted to take with us. Some things we destroyed in place. But we had been supplying the Afghan Security forces for 20 years with our equipment. When you lose a war like the afghans Security Forces do and you surrender the country like the United States did, then enemy takes the spoils, they take the weapons and anything else that they want to take, thats the way the war ends. We ended the war in a strategic defeat for the United States by surrendering the country to the very enemy that we were fighting by no longer supported Afghan Security forces. That is an awful price we paid for will happen. Maria wow, understood. Always a pleasure to see you. We appreciate your time always. Great talking to you, maria. Maria daniel jack keane joining us this morning. We want to take into the ground, foxs co correspondent trey yint is joining us now. Good morning overnight israelis ramped up their airstrikes on the gaza strip they say 400 different targets were hit trying to take as many hamas and Islamic Jihad on the operation. Israelis understandably engaged immediately by hamas and Islamic Jihad when the intergaza and they want to take out the rocket and cells but any units that are inside gaza we have new video of the strikes overnight hitting different buildings and positions inside of the gaza strip. It comes admit the glimmer of backdrop of the horrific story, the two elderly women, Israeli Citizens that were released overnight. One of them speaking out of the hospital in tel aviv, an 85yearold woman bravely talking about her experience in the horror that she faced inside the gaza strip we know there are 220 people being held inside gaza and a senior hamas official talking about her rest into the rest of the hostages in their situation, take a listen to what he had to say. They are not hostages. Secondly i told you. Will you let them go. Time now. I said we would release them and we announce that but now the distributed in different locations, we are keane on their safety, israel has killed more than 22 because of the destruction it has caused, therefore if Benjamin Netanyahu was keane on his safety and the europeans are on their side that them force israel to stop its aggression to stop the genocide in the brutal war crimes that are committed every day. Thomas is lying they are hostages in their being held in the tunnel system beneath gaza. We should talk about another video that we wont show but released by hamas showing two gunmen giving the elderly grandmothers, you can hear another airstrike and get on my cameraman and then you can see on the gaza border it just took place as we are live the smoke and debris rising up from the border with the gaza strip many of the hamas and Islamic Jihad are located and shows you how active the front line is. Airstrikes continue and renewed rocket fire in southern israel, 18 days into this conflict. You have hamas and Islamic Jihad maintaining the capability to fire on israeli population centers. Maria let me get your take on the hostages. I know in the 85yearold women that you were just referring to, her husband is still being held by the hostages, right . Her husband is still being held by the hostages. Whats remarkable about the specific community they were taken from its a small town called niros with the population of 400 people but 25 is missing or dead. Somebody people in the community were activists they were peace activists helping the Palestinian People, we interviewed the son of a man who is elderly also being held inside of gaza. He devoted his life to helping the Palestinian People. He was burying gazan children to israeli hospitals in protest violence against palestinians and they still dragged him into the gaza strip where hes being held as we speak. It gives you a set of how indiscriminate hamas was with the intersouthern israel killing who they could and taken hostage arrest. It is part of the explanation that we heard from this kind woman who spoke at the hospital in tel aviv about her experience inside of gaza. Maria it is incredible to hear the stories. The other thing that we heard from her daughter is she described the tunnels as a spider web, what can you tell us in terms of what the tunnels look like, is that with the 200 hostages are being held in those tunnels in gaza . Initially hamas said they were being held in the tunnels beneath gaza and she has now confirmed saying they were there for two weeks, given one meal a day, little bit of food in medicine but there is an Extensive Network of tunnels beneath the strip, hundreds of miles crisscrossing beneath gaza and not only were the hostages are being stored and kept and also where the weapons are being stored in the rockets into southern, central and northern israel, 18 days into this war, we should talk of the information she provided in what she calls the support and the care that was given very minimal support by hamas, medicine and food this is not a humanitarian effort by hamas as some will try to spin it this was an effort to keep this hostages alive because hamas understood and still understands its the only bargaining chip with the world as the war unfolds. Maria thats why i was asking you about the treatment because im wondering if she was saying they gave me tea, she was trying to be nice because she doesnt want to say anything that will affect how they treat her husband, thats where i was going with that, let me bring in Cheryl Casone. Im curious about the issue right now about israelis and hamas in negotiations for the remaining hostages. It seems to be about the fee will as you reported today as well and obviously lisa gives a release dont want any fuel to go to hamas. At the same time the israelis have been very clear that they know its a humanitarian issue with the palestinians, not with hamas but the palestinians. How do they monitor the trucks that go from egypt into southern gaza, is that Monitoring System secure, how did they know where it will go one once it enters gaza. Is a great question, they limited information in the past hamas has stolen aid that was meant for the Palestinian People the civilians inside of gaza and thats what they want to avoid they dont want to help support the enemy that they will help face on the ground in the coming days and the thousands of hamas and Islamic Jihad that will try to kill them with the inter. Its very difficult equation you more than 2 million palestinians inside of gaza in desperate need of food and medicine, this aid could be diverted. Maria we will be following your reporting, thank you for joining us this morning. Trey yingst on the ground and seven is. Thats a good markets here with futures indicating a strong rally at the start of trading on this busy day of Third Quarter earnings and ahead of 30 of the s p 500 reported earnings. We want to show you General Electric, the boost for the dow industrials. Moments ago a double beat, also raising the 2023 profit forecast, talking about a growing demand for jet engine spare parts, gm is expected, 3m also expected a moment we will bring those numbers only get them, General Electric stock is up better than 6 right now. That is one of the highlights of the morning stock sitting at 113 and 20 cents a share, after the bell we will get microsoft enough about and tomorrow meta and thursday is amazon, tech is going to dominate this week and that is typically a market mo mover, joining me here is Financial Group managing partner jamie cox, good to see you, which earnings are you focused on. It is a. I. On wall street. We will hear a lot about the productivity gains for the a. I. Bringing to bear the people paid attention to in the Second Quarter but ive sort of forgotten all the other things going out of the world. Working to see what will be the beginning of what the productivity shifts will be with earnings. Interestingly enough when you take a look at microsoft versus alphabet microsoft is woefully underperformed alphabet under the last quarter. I think that is about to change. If you been sitting around at microsoft wondering whats going on you will probably hear interesting things on the Earnings Call that will get you more excited about microsoft and catching up to do with the rest of the a. I. Stock universe. I think microsoft is probably people need to pay close attention to. Maria that may very well lift other boats, microsoft because of what youre talking about, the a. I. Story, these stocks are up big year to date, would you put new money to work in tech ahead of these numbers . It depends on which one, microsoft for sure, microsoft is not recession proof but of the largecap tech the business with the best annuity revenue base. To me that is when the people should own they should not be trading it there is others if you look later in the week with amazon you will see that what is more of a trade, i think amazon might use the a. I. Productivity gains and feedthrough to earnings in a lesser rate than it would be like a company like microsoft getting ready to release product sets like copilot. You will see the impacts of the different price points and things like that and i think tech earnings will Power Forward i dont think were anywhere near close to a peak because to me there is so much more that can be done on the revenue side but not only that the productivity side will accrue to the bottom line, the cost that will be running out for these Companies Using a. I. Themselves will be something that people need to Pay Attention to, we talk about Revenue Growth and the ability for sales increase and we dont talk about the effective a. I. And the bottom line is going to be a huge shift. Yes i think tech is definitely worth that. Maria i want to look at industrials, 3m is out and i want to ask about General Electric, lets get to cheryl with 3m numbers. A double beat on the estimates im going to give you the numbers, they committed to 68 share, the street was looking for 234, thats a lot better than expected the street was looking for a 13 plunge yearoveryear earningspershare, committed with revenue, 8. 3 billion the street was looking for 7. 98 billion. Again the yearoveryear comparison, better than expected on 3m. The stock is uppermost 5 , the dow component. Here is the bigger news the guidance per share for 2023 and also they are saying that they have Strong Operational execution and they have been doing a lot of restructuring and proactive spending discipline, there really watching the bottom line and watching exactly what they are spending what theyre not spending and were watching a General Motors to see what the stock has to do and General Motors coming in right now into 20 is earningspershare be for General Motors its a buck 88, 44130 is a loss on revenue. The be on earningspershare on General Motors in the big story is going to be the big effects of the strike on the numbers for General Motors. Actually revenue is the beat my apologies on gm 44. 1. The be on revenue, 43. 68 billion was estimate for revenue. Again good news on gm it is the commentary theyre talking about that saying this did affect the numbers overall, the uaw strike, the Impact Higher expenses, warranty repairs certainly heard us so we were expecting them to Start Talking about this and are soaring currently as well, its also about the last quarter but this quarter as well. My apologies on the crazy number on gms revenue. It is a beat and the stock is under pressure and i have a feeling that would have a better quarter if it wasnt for uaw. Maria we have good numbers on 3m and General Electric, look at these beats in the guidance they were getting from industrial companies. This has to mean this is a lot better than people expected. Ge is back up to 113 in change, talk about General Electric stock this morning, up 6 as you can see here and 3m up 5 , your reaction. The sleeper part of the stock market has been the industrials and people have forgotten about it so most like regional banks. It is strong and a good thing, labor markets will continue to stay strong and adobe overall good for economic growth. We have seen over 2022 when Interest Rates for started to rise we saw manufacturing recession a rolling recession in different areas, that is clearly over and thats going to help us get through the difficult times i will say on autos, Interest Rates and auto loans 8 , 7 thats going to slow down sales, autos are unique and special case particularly because of the consumer cost of financing automobile and the other areas of industrial definitely hears the infrastructure package and other things are powering growth and powering sales with these companies and thats going to change either. The other part Interest Rates are going to stay higher for longer and that is going to keep a damper on markets overall because markets want lower rates, they are not going to get them. Maria that is what i was going to ask you the ten year hip 5 yesterday. You think it continues around the bubble . I think the fed finished on the short end but the fed working on the long end and the market is going to price that quickly and we will be through that very, very shortly and off to the races in the markets. Take a look at market rally underway this morning driven by strong earnings, the dow industrial 125, the nasdaq up 86. We just heard from General Electric motors and 3m, the stocks are all trading higher on beats in terms of earning and revenue but also raising the guidance, General Electric as well as 3m raising their guidance. Ge is up six of the third and 3m is up better than 5 , these are the highlights of the morning. Interest rates are flat after hitting 5 yesterday, take a look at the ten year where we see the price up four tenths of a basis point at 4. 85 were below 8. 4 after hitting 5 yesterday on the tenure. Pennsylvania congressman dan meuser has dropped out of the race for the House Speaker, eight gop candidates remaining. This morning republicans will hold a secret ballot election does vote for speaker nominee that is happening at 9 00 a. M. This morning. House freedom caucuses demanded that Congress Stay in session until a new speaker is elected, joining the ohio congressman bill johnson and member of the house energy and commerce committee. Thank you for being here this morning can you tell us how youre expecting the next one for hours to play out with the speakers race. It would be very interesting. We have eight candidates now that are running for speaker and im hopeful that we will get through this, today its unfortunate that we are here Kevin Mccarthy shouldve never even deposed from the speaker seat and we shouldve gotten Steve Scalise if that wasnt going to work in jim jordan from ohio wouldve made a good choice. Well see what our conference is about the eight that made their presentations last night. Maria who are you supporting . Its a secret ballot. Im getting keep my powder dry until i go into the room this morning. There are qualified candidates and their and im looking at several of them. Alexandria ocasiocortez is attacking for the congressman and gop speaker candidate Byron Donalds. She claims he lacks experience to become speaker, donald responded on fox. Heres what he said, watch. Before i got to congress i spent 20 years in the financial industry something that leadership on capitol hill definitely needs. Since being here on capitol hill i worked intimately with our Leadership Team and members throughout the conference appropriators and author risers to get some of our biggest pieces of legislation accomplished, this congress with all the respect and to miss ocasiocortez she does not know what shes talking about. Maria hes talking about his knowhow on financial services, is that something that you see as a priority for the speaker. What are the main components that that person needs to have to get that job, what do you think. And i think Byron Donalds has to defend himself against aoc the constitution says the house chooses the speaker that goes to the Majority Party and i guarantee when our members walk into the room this morning its not on the checklist what does aoc think about my selection that is number one but i told our conference each of us may not get the speaker that we each individually want but we all want the speaker that we need and the one thing that i do believe we need real leadership in someone that has a character and the values and the sincerity and the humility to bring our conference together and get to work on the important things that the American People sent us here to do. Maria we want to know if you can get the appropriation bills done in the time remaining. We only have 28 days, 27 days before potential Government Shutdown again. We have to get that done. Thats a fundamental foundational constitutional responsibility to manage the pursestrings, we have to get that done. Job rally jumping. Its incredible to see aoc blaming the lack of experience on why Byron Donalds shouldnt be speaker, he and her happening congress is the same amount of time i suspect shes projecting her own lack of experience in all of her time. Staying with Byron Donalds he someone who is familiar to audiences he seems to want to take the mantle of leadership, what is appetite for someone like that of a Younger Generation that were used to. Our members of congress concerned about his age or do they see him as a rising upandcoming star. Byron donalds theres no question Byron Donalds made a splash in the house and is not afraid to say what he thinks that is a good thing but as i mentioned to maria a little earlier we have eight candidates and we never shouldve gotten rid of Kevin Mccarthy, we had Steve Scalise sitting in the wings and we disposed of him as well i think that was unfortunate as well as jim jordan we went down the line of experience members and now everybody up there from Pete Sessions from texas are fairly new relatively new since the 2000 wave election. We have to see how it plays out this morning. I think rather than time served i think members are looking for character, values, life skills, experience and the willingness to put our conference, the institution and the American People before their own political agenda. Maria i know one way of doing that is to secure the border thats a priority, custom and Border Protection sources telling fox news there have been more than 23000 known got a ways just sent october 1, that means more than 1000 known got a ways crossed into the u. S. Everything will day this month Border Patrol encountered 18 people on the terrorist watch list in september alone. Here we are watching the war on israel and i know many of your colleagues are concerned about gaza refugees coming into the United States. What can you tell us and you have any new information that hamas and te has below terrorist are getting into america now. They are trying. We know the majority of people trying to come across our southern border right now are not mexicans, they are not from mexico there from other countries ive seen a report as many as 1. 7 million data ways are in our country since Biden Administration took over in the border fiasco began. This is outrageous. We know they are here in lord only knows how many terrorist cells we have in the United States and what they may be planning to do. Maria unbelievable, President Biden is trying to package all the money that he wants from congress to say that he has to save money not just israel but ukraine and he claims theres money he wants to send to the border. As i understand that the border doesnt need money you need to change in policy. How is that requests going to play out in the house. It is not what a play out at all you made that point we were to give the president hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars to secure the border he had a secure border when he stepped into office, he did not have to be in the situation, he chose to be here and now its up to him to fix it, i dont see an appetite in the house to package up Border Security and ukraine funding for our friends in israel all at the same time each one are important but each one requires a different legislative fix in guaranties and oversight and plans for havoc when you do those things. Maria we will watch how it all plays out, good to talk to you. Thank you very much, congressman bill johnson joining us, California Governor Gavin Newsom on international to work. Maria welcome back California Governor Gavin Newsom joking about his president ial ambition following his trip to israel over the weekend. He said i wish i was president of the United States to reporters in israel, adding he could help with the potential ceasefire, i think he just told us what he really wants. He is making his political case to be president , maybe he sees what the nation sees in joe biden has slowed down his speech and sometimes it seems impaired this is a crucial time for our country and the world, what i find so rich about Gavin Newsoms plan, he goes to israel, why hes getting completely skewered in washington for that but then he decides to go to china to pitch climate change, then you go to china for carbon emission in clean energy, give me a break is what i would say to all of this. At the same time it shows the callousness. I understood i was willing to give kathy hochul a break when she went to israel simply because it she going to do anything, no but she does represent the city in the state of new york with the largest Jewish Population in the nation so i understood her wanting to go but she was useless when she went. Maria i dont understand is exactly right it was about photo ops, what is kathy hochul and gavin newsom going to do in israel, give me a break this is a serious situation and jews across the country are scared they see whats happening wondering whats next in america, we know hamas and hezbollah may be coming to the southern border this is the most dangerous time in decades since 9 11. A better thing for Governor Newsom or Governor Hochul to get dressed up like youre prepping for snowstorm and talk about how your stay is going to protect the jewish people whether theyre in synagogues or houses of worship or any type of community setting, jews are very afraid in their rightfully to do so, i think the subtext of what gavin newsom was saying is interesting in any scene he wishes he could do a better job hes saying he doesnt entirely agree with the job that joe biden is doing he sees flaws in the argument, the only thing that is interesting, gavin newsom and im not a fan by any stretch of the imagination but i give him credit for having this go on for six months where he gets to go on popular new shows and talk about how he would be a great president without ever saying hes running for president and all the interviewers concede the point that you would be a good president much better than our president but in fact are not running for president , its a cycle that regurgitates itself every week on different cha channels. Maria i had to say, the fact that he said i wish i were president of the United States tells me hes been given the directive to start messaging that out because remember a couple of months ago, the next president has to go to Kamala Harris she is next in line but now hes losing that up by throwing that out there i wish i was president. I think its probably the democrat leadership u. S. Figured out that the current team in place is not going to work and 2024. Im talking about Kamala Harris leading things, where is she in the face of all this we have not seen her in the face of the war on israel. I read exactly as you are reading it and how we should take this, the democratic leadership is absolutely decided that Kamala Harris should be out of the limelight and biden has to be in the forefront buddies not doing well there, you have the outside sources, i also speak to california they are the eighth largest economy in the world and the policy papers that come out of california with ngos all over the world talking about as a country almost, this is not surprising at all but i see a shift in the democrat leadership and we are going that way. Maria in terms of allowing gavin newsom to get out there and start messaging the potential of him being president or joe biden successor. We want to show you cocacola earnings, lets get Cheryl Casone with the numbers. They have a double beat 74 cents earningspershare the street was looking for 69, 12 billion on revenue the street was looking for 11. 44 billion, the stock is down 15 year to date, what theyre talking about is obviously the currency headwinds as strong dollar is bad for somebody like cocacola theyre meant to do that as well. As far as worldwide case volumes this is a Global Company so there in the middle east and the asiapacific region and in europe and theyre talking about singledigit gains i will say whats interesting on the call is like walmart investors are worried about the popularity of the glp1 drugs, we go v and ozempic. Walmart is saying thats hurting the sales. Sugar, calories in the crowd is kind of non consuming those things. An interesting twist on the numbers. Back to you. Maria the stock up one another percent, mark highs of 132 on the dell lets take a short break and come right back. vo sail through the heart of historic cities and unforgettable scenery with viking.
