At these couple choke points, you have these terribly disgusting, disgraceful demonstrations that are actually forming Human Chains to prevent students from entering campus without having to put up a fight. They are throwing red paint, like you said. That is a picture i took earlier today. Like i said earlier, it is dreadful and its absolutely disgraceful in a place like columbia. If you remember, in the 2020 race, President Donald Trump was telling his supporters not to vote early, not to vote by mail, because they were going to have this Big Red Wave On Election Day. Meanwhile, democrats were banking millions of votes, day after day after day, in the runup to the election. Now trump has kind of grudgingly come out in support of Mailin Voting in early voting. But still i would say the democrats do have an edge in this. You are going to see democrats working really, really hard to get people to vote and make Election Day seem like an afterthought. Gillian robert, what do you say . I agree with byron. First of all, early voting, you need an approval process. A lot of military use early voting, and those people who cant get to the Voting Booth because of Work Use early vo voting. Mailin voting is standard and i think eight states, predominantly, even red states such as utah and nebraska. So this is not a partisan issue. This is an american issue. There is early voting and Mailin Voting. Its part of the process. And i thought it was illconceived for President Trump early on to say dont mail and votes, that early voting is wrong, because it happens in red and blue states, and in the past hes gotten a lot of those votes. Both he and current President Biden got about 80 Million votes each. Gillian i want to make sure i ask you guys about this. Biden and Harris Yesterday in pittsburgh touting themselves as proworkers party, they said they are the most prounion ticket In Americas history. The reality for them, byron, is at the teamsters have yet to endorse the candidates. Why . Thats a very big deal and a very sore spot for democrats. Obviously Joe Biden fancies himself as the greatest Prounion Candidate in the history of the world, and Kamala Harris is trying to take that mantle, as well. But the fact is, even though you have seen a lot of support for the democratic ticket, traditionally, among the leadership of unions, you see a lot of Rankandfile Union members support donald trump. He knows that, thats why he has courted unions, thats why you had a top union officials speak at the republican national convention, and almost crazy event that happened. So i think, basically, The Union leaders and the democrats who depend on their support are worried about a rankandfile that is actually split between the traditional democratic Vote And Donald trump. Gillian yesterday, robert, both harris and biden spoke out against a takeover of u. S. Steel by the japanese. Its an easy issue in the sense that folks, voters on both sides of the aisle are going to support that. The tougher Scenario Sell here for Biden And Harris Convincing Wouldbe harris voters that bidenomics has worked for the working class, and labor and unions, and that a Harris Economy is going to work even better. I dont think they said bidenomics have worked perfectly. To add to byrons point, i think it is very smart what President Biden did yesterday. If you look at the Swing States, theres one of the largest factories being built in arizona, north carolina, georgia, wisconsin, so i think it is smart to reiterate what their infrastructure will and chips act is doing with respect to Rebuilding Industrial America and the revitalization of factories being built. I think, actually, with respect to The Unions, No One has fought harder for living wages than the bidenharris administration. So i think its a smart thing and i would say, yes, the teamsters arent there yet, although they were not happy with the Elon Musk Trump interview where they were laughing about firing union workers. He didnt have proper cdl, he didnt have Experience Driving in the mountains in colorado, and he did not know how to properly shift his gears, so he lost control of the truck and he was flying down the highway at 80 miles an hour when he crashed and killed my husband. So hopefully maybe in the future we will see the man that owns a Trucking Company go to jail for at least ten years, not a year, and this Trucking Company shut down for good.
