Fugitive turns himself in to police for 'peace and quiet' to escape his lockdown cohabitants

For some, being stuck in lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic has felt like prison. For others, it’s been even worse.
A wanted man turned himself in to police in the U.K. because his living situation was intolerable, Inspector Darren Taylor said on Twitter on Thursday.

“Peace and quiet! Wanted male handed himself in to the team yesterday afternoon after informing us he would rather go back to prison then have to spend more time with the people he was living with!” the Sussex police officer tweeted. “One in custody and heading back to prison to serve some further time on his own.”
