Gay men targeted for hate crimes in Dallas

Three Texans are behind bars convicted of luring gay men for the purpose of committing violent crimes against them.
According to court documents, the trio admitted they conspired to, and then targeted as many as nine men in and around Dallas, Texas.
Beginning on or around Dec. 6, 2017, the 3 conspirators used Grindr, a social media dating platform used primarily by gay men, to lure men to an apartment complex in Dallas.
