While many people embraced being couch potatoes during the pandemic, a Wisconsin father of three challenged himself to break a world record for most push-ups done in a year. Nate Carroll reached his goal and set a new record after completing more than a million and a half push-ups (1,500,231) over 365 days.
But the best part? Carroll did it all to raise money for the families of fallen first responders. He spent the year fundraising for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation’s Fallen First Responder Program, which pays off mortgages for families of law enforcement officers and firefighters who are killed in the line of duty.
