According to Police Chief Trent Page, around 4:45 a.m. Tuesday a resident in the 1000 block of Oakland awoke to hear someone in their house removing items. The subject remained in the house approximately 20 to 30 minutes after the resident awoke. The resident was able to eventually call police who found forced entry had been made through a door to the residence. It's believed the subject left the immediate area on foot.
