Holiday season recalls town's first religious services

Christmas services were first held at the Striplin home in 1868. Both Christmas and Hanukah are occurring once again at the same period this year, a good time to take a look back at the early religious life in Valley Center and recall the two faiths that were first to hold religious services 154 years
